Deasil manages to fall silently to the ground, and get away without anyone giving him second thought.

Deasil was exhausted after the days rainy walk, including his recent work, has left him drained. after stumbling through the streets, he found himself an Inn or tavern, with a tent just outside the place. he gave it and odd glance and stumbled inside, hoping to get a room.

Reggie asked for a room for the night and some food and sat down near Marisa. It's not that he really sought to sit near her, in fact he didn't wish to bother her since she seemed deep in thought at that point. It's just that he didn't really feel like warming up to the other bar patrons.

As he sat there, eating his food he began wondering if he should offer the dwarf a room also. He was so deep in thought that at first he didn't realize that Deasil had stumbled in. 'Eh? Wha? Oh. Oooh. Crap. Now i'm going to have to keep my eye on my money again.' was the perticular thought process he had rather nonfluidly taken upon realization. He didn't notify anyone that deasil had entered and hoped Marisa wouldn't notice, he just kept eating.

Deasil had only just realized after he stumbled up to the bar that there were two very threatening, very familiar figures. "Out of the Lion's nest, into the dragon's den" he thought to himself. he couldn't simply bolt for the door. the best he could do was simply slouch up in a corner, keep his head low, and hope the paladin's don't recognize him.

As Marisa had finished her meal, she had resumed watching the patrons and contemplating. Sure enough, in stumbled Deasil unsubtly enough to fit an orc. She could tell he didn't want to be seen after that, however, and she was of no mind to try to force a conflicted knave into their ranks. Even if it was worth it, she was far too tired to spend energy on such a troublesome task. She glanced at Reggie. Sure enough, he tried to pretend like nothing. She smiled, stood up and with a nod to him went off to her room.

Dragging her tired legs up a flight of stairs and through a sturdy oak door was quite enough work. The room was satisfying in its simplicity and on the floor was a small tub of water with a towel hanging on the side. As she slumped on her bed, her very own bed, she relished, she awkwardly began removing her armour and padding, the muffled sounds of activity downstairs distant to her mind. Too tired to bathe, she fell asleep within seconds right on the spot.

Deasil let out a sigh of relief as the woman headed upstairs. he was still hoping for a place to spend the night however, and so after he was sure she wasn't in ear shot, he made his way towards the bar-keep, grabbing a stool and pulling himself ontop of it.

"Hey buddy, fine night for the ducks, eh? Don't suppose you have any room keys lying around? i'm feeling pretty drained, and need a place for the night"

'heh...two silvers huh..." Deasil shifted through his coin purse, and passed him a gold piece. "ill take it". after he passes the coin to the barkeep, he also began taking a closer examination of the loot he had taken from the Jeweler's.

Deasil admired the two gems as he trudged up the stairs, having paid for the room and taking the key from the barkeep. he was wet, he was tired, and most importantly, the guards were looking for him. or so he thought. Deasil entertained the idea that the guards quite possibly came for an entirely different reason. "bet they were just checking for mice" he laughed to himself as he entered the room. double checking to make certain the room is locked, he dropped himself on his bed, removing his armor and almost immediately fell asleep.

Reggie finished his meal and looked around. Everyone else that he knew had gone up, presumibly to sleep, and indeed, to him it seemed like everyone else was settling down for the evening. Everyone else was going to their own little magical mental realm to entertain their own fantasies...but not him. Reggie followed suit with the others and got up, walked up to his room, went in and closed the door, locking it. Unlike the others though, he didn't fall asleep imeadiatly, instead he took off his armor and sat at the edge of his bed, glowering into the darkness.

"Don't forget why your here, why you left your home." His thoughts drifted to his father as he thought that. He knew he wasn't strong enough to beat him yet, he would need magic for that, but he also knew that he would probably have to do much to track him down, things that wern't acceptable. He wondered what his group would think of that...Marisa would probably try to hang him if he did anything of the sort, just judging by how she reacted to the bandits, and wulfstain probably wouldn't approve either.

"Hmm, i'll deal with this later..." He thought as he laid down and drifted to sleep.

was planing on doing something more than that but i'll do it later, seeing as how my brain is all messed up due to sickness. Also may post something about him waking up the next day...unless you are going to do that DF.

Well, it does look like everyone is asleep, so I would say if anyone was waiting for the party to all go to bed, you can start posting morning stuff now.

@Kelethor: You have two gems? Do remember the special brooch was taken away by the jeweler as he squirreled off to the city guard.

(Are the jade and Oblong not separate? if so, my apologies)

Dramatic Flare said:
He discovers he has acquired a small oblong and polished piece of green jade.
Deasil awoke early, an hour or so before dawn. this was usually simply a matter of preference, but he hoped that he could avoid the paladins, without having to leave in the middle of the night. he dressed himself, stuffed the gem'(s)? back into his pouch, opened the door, and slowly creeped down to the main room.

Oblong is a shape, and it describes the jade. Think of it as a round-cornered rectangle.

Reggie awoke a little before dawn, which he would find to be odd for him since he had a inate ability to wake right at dawn, something that was usually in full affect 24/7. As far as he would remember, he never woke up before then on his own. Of course, right now he was to slugish and sleepy to care.

He put on his clothes and armor and then walked out of his room. Slugishly he walked down to the main part of the tavern, not noticing deasil, and looked around the room with blurry eyes, trying to find someone he could ask for some food from.

Stirring from her sleep, Marisa slowly opened her eyes to stare into the wooden ceiling of her room. She had woken up just before dawn as usual; her biological clock rarely failed unless she wanted it to, no matter how little or much sleep she had gotten. She sat up and leaned on her elbows. The small room seemed only to be getting smaller. She gritted her teeth and wasn't sure where the frustration came from, but surmised it might have to do with her lack of success the past years. Dismally, she undressed, took a cold bath, redressed and started her morning exercises before getting into her uncomfortable plate armour suit.

As she exited her room and walked down the stairs, her melancholy slowly started turning into anger as it always did. It was her way of avoiding a depressive state of mind. Luckily, she wasn't the kind of person to let it out on others, and she actually enjoyed being angry. It motivated her; gave her confidence and strength. This was not something she had learned as a Paladin, but simply how she always had been. With a grin, she nodded to Reggie as she passed by him at the bar counter.

"Breakfast for two brave warriors, barkeep!" She roared as she slapped Reggie on the back roughly enough to topple an orc.

Presented with some food, she sat down at a table and started looking for able people to bring for their task.

Wulfstain rumbled quietly, snoring like a small train. His armour clanked as he shifted from one side to the other in peaceful sleep. Perhaps, it's better not to know what this berzerk dwarf dreams of.

As the first rays of the sun reached across the morning sky, he turned over onto his back, assuming the position he fell asleep in. His eyes opened slowly and he blinked a few times, yawning at the same time. "Gr, mornings. Hate mornings." It was still just dawn, but he immediately occupied himself with checking if all his gear was there and packing anything he had not packed before, preparing his armour in battle fashion.

Finally, he entered the tavern, covered in morning dew and smelling faintly of dirt. He sneezed and pat himself on the belly as he joined the other paladin, his heavy maul affixed to his back. "Good morning." He muttered and quietly sat, eating one of the food items he took with himself.

This morning had not gone as Deasil planned. he hoped to quietly creak down the stairs, through the common room, and out the door before anyone knew what happened. not only did he encounter a paladin in the common room, but now a four foot wall of steel with a dwarf stuck inside came through the door, having breakfast. He stepped lightly, and took a seat at the far end of the table, furthest he could from the awakened party. if he could bide his time until they began a conversation, or even better, left, he may just get out of here in one piece. he kept his head low, his mouth shut, and his newly acquired piece of jade clutched firmly in his hand.

Reggie looked onward, trying to fully wake up. He didn't know it but his current condition was so bad that he didn't even notice marisa coming up next to him and nodding to him.

"Breakfast for two brave warriors, barkeep!", was the only thing he heard before he felt a blow to his back that 1) snapped him out of his daze and 2) caused him to start toppling over, gradually mind you. He first started thinking that the world was starting to tilt, hoping that some wizard hadn't screwed up a spell and caused the world to start tipping on it's side. Then, as marisa sat down, he realized that it wasn't the world that was tipping over, it was himself. He thought about putting his foot out to steady himself but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to do it...and then gravity took over and he fell face first onto the ground. The overall thing was rather amusing and caused a good chuckle from some of the people in the tavern.

He then quickly jumped up, got his food and sat down near Marisa and Wulfstain. He then turned to marisa and said, "Thanks for that, knocked me right out of my freakish daze there. Anything else you think we need before we set off on our little mission?"

Marisa chuckled as she chomped on a piece of dark bread.
"Naw, I'm always prepared. We could really use some more people, but that's nothing new. I suppose we shall have to trust in... luck. Hehehe..."
Her chuckling continued, and then she bellowed. "As long as we take fate into our own hands, I'm sure we have nothing to fear!
Eternal Avandra will be in our favour."
She got up and marched for the door. The sun was just peeking up behind the hills to the East. She was certain fate was on her side as she started marching for the mountains, and the thought of avenging those poor sisters of the clergy lent speed to her stride as she looked to the mountains with a grin.
