Well, that was a short-lived Internet meme. Eric and his homosexual friends have stopped. on video said in the description: We are afraid. and in the video Eric's friend asked for HELP. after hacking Life in a tent's page, turning it into a ERIC HAS WON JUSTIN BIEBER IS AWESOME kind of page. 1 day later its the original life in a tent page. here is the video after the consequences of the war, and LIAT's videos. so for the sake of discussion, what did you think of this meme, why would those kids do this, and what was the point? life in a tent said:

your well within your rights to love justing biber and were well within our rights to hate him. or something like that

I love that he didn't want people to recognise him, yet told everyone where he was going to head in his backup plan. What an eejit.

Anyone wanna fill me in on this supposed war?

I feel like this is yet another internet phenomenon that went right by me.

I'm with you the only reason I have heard of Beeber is because he hated on Tom Brady's hair. Can we get a debriefing on this war.
I actually watched some of those videos just now.

Apparently this 12-year old made a video slamming Justin Bieder haters, but being an ignorant little kid, he didn't realize a lot of people would come down hard on him for this. So he bit off more then his baby teeth could chew and now he's suffering the consequences.

Sounds like another Greek tragedy in the world of Youtube.

No surprise there. You shouldn't try and be an internet tough guy if your not going to back it up in real life.

A pair of kids that looked about 12 or 13 made a video declaring "war" on people who hated Justin Beiber and proceeded to abuse fans of metal music and other genres. The general patheticness of the video naturally attracted all kinds of hateful comments, initially the kids said they would hack everyone who abused them which in turn caused more people to insult them. Two major opponents were youtube users "Lifeinatent" and "OutbackZack" who made video responses against the children. The kids actually managed to hack lifeinatent, allegedly by sending him keyloggers and other viruses, lifeinatent resumed control of his youtube account a short time after. The continued amount of abuse the children were receiving combined with the fact that people in their hometown were recognising them in real life and abusing them led to them making further videos begging the internet to stop.

the internet is fucking stupid.
Yep...

Either that kid is deliberately trying to piss off all the kids hating on J-Biebs or he's actually hating on the kids hating on him, but regardless of that, it's just a bunch of kids hating each other for NO REASON.

For fuck's sake at least hold it in till the next generation of consoles comes out.

Anyone who can recap exactly what this is about aside from people trying to flame eachother?
Well, it's a long story, but here we go:

There was this 14-year-old kid named Eric Douglace who posted a video on the 8th, I think it was. He declared war on Justin Bieber haters, proclaiming them all to be "metal-loving fuckheads" and saying that he was going to take action. Said action? He claimed he knew how to hack, and that he would gather IP addresses and find out who the people behind each one was and then put them on a website or something, I don't know. He also claimed that he had an uncle in the Federal Communications Commission, and that in addition to using programs he has no authorization to use he had connections to the FBI, wherein he could supposedly pull a few strings to get people arrested and get stuff down on their criminal records. And then he was all 'you can't stop me, *****!'

I imagine you can already tell how stupid this whole thing is.

And basically the entire internet thought the same way and began to take up arms; tons of reply videos were made, and the trolls began to pour in on this guy. It only got worse when Eric Douglace proclaimed he would take down 4chan (seriously, dumbest move ever), and then LifeInATent got involved because he made a video response and he had a lot of subscribers. LIAT was only making a video reply like everyone else, yet Eric Douglace decided to zero in on LIAT since he probably had the most subscribers. He continually planned the war.

And when the war arrived... Eric Douglace hacked LIAT. And only LIAT. And it wasn't even real hacking; apparently, LIAT got keylogged, which isn't the same thing. And when he had LIAT's accounts, he only changed titles and said stuff like "I win *****".

A few hours later, LIAT got his Youtube account back. After that, he got his website back.

And that was the ONLY thing Eric Douglace did.

So now, the war is over.

And as for that other kid? He's appeared in a few videos on Eric's channel, even being edited into the first half a minute or so of the video where Eric threatened to take down 4chan, so I don't think it's the same guy that played off of christianU2uber.
