Warhammer 40k Spacemarine from Psn store.

Hi, earlier today i bought Spacemarine from EU psn store and after playing the multiplayer a bit my leveling stopped and it wants me to buy an online pass to continue past level 5, shouldn't i be able to level past that because i obviously bought a new copy of it? Or is this some sort of Digital copy bs?

I would be glad if someone could help me with this, i probably wouldn't buy it if i had knew that there wasn't an online pass included and the description of the game didn't mention anything about it.

That is odd... I love the game to bits, but if they force you to buy an online pass in addition to the digital purchase, that is just wrong.

However, I had a look at the game on the Playstation store, and I don't see anything about an online pass being a separate purchase.

Are you sure you didn't receive an online pass? Maybe try downloading it, to see if it charges you?

Yes, i checked my download list if the pass would be there but there was only the game, i also tried to see if the online pass would be free but it still asked the 7 ? for it, i have sent a message to thq support, and asked the same question on spacemarine forums but so far no answers from them so i decided to give this a try.

It might be worth checking your emails, they might have sent it to that as a redeemable code? That's all I can think of.

I've checked my email, i just got the same idea seconds before refreshing the site and started going trough the purchase details but found nothing.

Check your downloaded items list from the Playstation store, maybe it snuck in there but simply didn't install?

Gah, then the only alternative I can think of is to ring THQ customer services and tell them ( Depending on the time ofcourse! )

I had my copy bought on disc for the Xbox and that just came with a code. Might be worth googling it aswell, see if anyone else has had this problem?

Bad timing, too. I bought two copies of the game for the PS3, and gave away my extra code here a couple of months ago.

Hmm that doesn't sound very THQ-like. Like Iwata said, try the Space Marine forums for suppourt. It's the best place to go and they can't really ignore you there.

Yes, there wasn't anything on the description that said anything about online pass or in this case elite pass, and i just got a message from THQ support, the digital version does NOT include online pass. I probably will not buy it because i just feel cheated at the moment.

It might be worth asking the PS3 section on the SM forums if anyone has a spare code - You might get a little flamed, but I'm sure some nice chap might help you out - Hell, if I had the money in the bank I'd go and purchase a new PS3 copy to pass you the code ( GAME is currently selling it for £2.98 .
