Warhammer 40k

So ive only really just gotten into the forums here. But I was curious who here actually plays warhammer 40k on the table top. Im also currious as to what races/factions people play.

Personally Ive been playing since about 2004 and following it almost 21 years in magazines etc. I have played Necrons (my first army), World eaters (for which I built a brass scorpion) and am now in the process of painting a tyranid force.

i played it for quite a while, from a young age, but then ended up getting bored of the table top, still love all the back story though

I've a Dark Eldar army, and an Ultramarines army (my first) for when I actually wanna win.

yeah im pretty sure with the world eaters i lost probably 90% of my games but i still had fun nids will be a change though

I started 40K years ago, built an Eldar army as a starter, but soon realised they were bloody hard to play. So I switched to Space Marines

Revisited it a few years down the line, built a Tau army, relying heavily on Mech Infantry, Devilfish and Fire Warriors, supported by Hammerheads. From there I decided to go for a more up close army, so build a Khorne Chaos Space Marines army, lots of Beserkers supported by Rhinos and Defilers.

I loved the fluff especially and I enjoy painting and modelling more than gaming. Its a backfooter now, but Im now slowly building my Imperial Guard Mech army, and painting my Ork Boyz horde
