These are the two upcoming MMORPG's that I feel will be fun enough to warrant a monthly fee but I don't know which one I want. Age of Conan seems like some good Mature fun and since its being codeveloped by one of my favorite game companies, Eidos, I feel rather confident about the game being fun. The fact that I can actually control my characters attacks leds me to believe that any and all grinding will be a little less boring and repetitive WoW but I was rather let down by the classes which I thought to be rather bland and uninspiring. However Warhammer Online classes look very inspiring and full of character but I am not sure whether or not everyone of my certain class and level will look exactly the same. I'd like to be in control of at least the color of my cape to give a slight sense of uniqueness. I also liked Warhammer onlines podcasts that gave me a sense of insurance that the PVP or RVR will be extremely fun which isn't clearly represented on the Age of Conan website. Age of Conan will be extremely laggy especially for modest computer owners like me. How can I control my characters combat while I flash around the place to the perspective of other players. Even though Warhammer online combat will most likely be like WoW combat I am more confident that my computer will handle it. Another thing I liked about Warhammer Online is that races are balanced by having the same archetype classes for each race. So every race will have a balanced tank, melee dps, range dps,and healer/mage or paladin with slight racial differences making the games PvP kinda like a pretty game of 4 way rock, paper, scissor. Basically I'm leaning more for buying Warhammer Online because I know more about it based on the podcasts so if anyone has any links or info on why Age of Conan would be the better choice please share.

I really like the worlds both of these games are set in, but I also really dislike the standard MMO formula. Age of Conan's promise of fun combat that doesn't feel like a chore edges out my love of Warhammer simply because I'm afraid Warhammer Online will be a reskin of Dark Age of Camelot in much the same way LOTR Online feels almost exactly like WoW.

There doesn't seem to be much information out there on Age of Conan's combat, however, so this is just speculation on my part based on developer promises.

Both interest me and I was picking AOC first, but since War will now be out first (stupid delays) it gets a buy first and if I like it I won't switch over.
