I would be a mage. I'm not quite heroic (or physically strong enough) to be a warrior, but I'm not wicket/sneaky enough to be a rouge. I'm a good supporting team member who is very talented. :D Plus magic would be awesome!!!

A rogue or lightly armored and agile warrior that uses magic to defend against other magic and strenghtening magic to push my body to its limit.

Mage, too lazy to run around hitting people with swords/shooting arrows all day, I'll just stay in one place casting spells while the Warrior and Rogue are protecting me...

Mage. Magic can to what brute strength and stealth can to and more. Also BOOM fire ball to the face.

Mage. It's more like me to stand far back, survey the battle, and apply spells wherever necessary to help allies (not healing though, taking pressure off them). It also requires intelligence usually, which I prefer to use than strength or dexterity and cunning.

Usually I play rogue, but since this would be real life and crouching wouldn't magically make me invisible, probably Mage, because in real life a lightning bolt will kill someone, or at very least incapacitate them.

Mage: Smart, powerfull, Firece. quite badarse, with the arcane power I could do much, and the studying seems like my kind of thing! I would say mage is awesome, but not my first choice.

Warrior: Big, strong, dumb. Not my thing, they have big destructive abillities and they are your classic knightly hero, but somehow the warrior class just don't apeel to me.

Rogue: Fast, cunning, Subtile. can have the intellectual level of the mage, do at least as much damage as the warrior and operate from the shaddows. he might not have the asme amount of physical endurance as the warrior, but stealthy and fast as he is, there is no need for that. I like to think of myself as a subject of finesse, and so the Rogue is my favourite class.

rougue. the shadows are always there, while your mana drains and your sword shatters, the shadows will be watching. so will I.

Mage-sorcerer to be more exact. Less studius and more force of will and sheer imagination to create spells.

That's my archetype.

Warrior in most games these days. I find the rogue to be usually either broken by bad stealth, or a lone wolf type. I prefer to be in a team.

Mage and Warrior go well together, Mage for support/tricks and Warrior for atk/def.

Or even Mage and varations of - heals, dps, buffs, and warrior tanks. Rogue ah... he secretly stalks in the shadows.

-_- <----- my very impressed face.

Tbh, the only thing rogues are good for is unlocking stuff...

So I usually go warrior, because I when it comes to fantasy games I enjoy the simple rustic swords n steel approach. I'm a fan of archers, and an even bigger fan of stuff with gun powder and steam =P.

As for real life, well I guess I'd go Mage, because well, MAGIC! =P

Mage. A Mage could become a Rogue or Warrior easy, but for them to become a mage it would be harder (I assume, as intelligence is natural)

Rogue. I always play rogues in RPG's. Thief in Oblivion because that's totally something different.

Stealth is always the best approach to a conflict.

EDIT:

Remember the Dark Brotherhood quest where you have to plant the poison apple on the guy and he eats it and dies. Now that was a badass stealth quest. The one where you drop the moose head on that guy from his attic crawlspace was pretty badass too.
Play some Hitman, boy.
Play some Thief, man.

=P

(I recommend Thief: Deadly Shadows.)
((also irony at my above post =P))

Easy, a rogue. I can pick locks, I'm clever, sneaky and hell I just love rogues and shadows. Good enough reason to me.
