Was anyone else really upset by Fable 2?

I enjoyed it, other than the abrupt ending (appearing next to lucious and shooting him) I really enjoyed it. I felt the world worked fairly well and, having played and liked the first game felt that things made enough sense for me to work with the story.

I suggest try the first. I really loved the first, but hated the second.
Don't know why, but I just did.

It's a shame Fable 1 was a work of art, a great solid game. But Fable 2 just took so much out of that game and put in new things that no one wanted. It still maintains the sense of humour about itself though which I like.

Fable II was okay, besides how fucking batshit retarded the end was. I don't get my doggie back? The hell, even after I picked the choice where all the people live, I still get treated like shit with no real reward. That's not how you reward your players game!

Spoiler: About the dog...(end choices spoiler)

To get your dog back, you needed to have picked "Love". Choosing "sacrifice" brings all those lost in the spire's construction or whatever back and you get a huge renown boost. "Love" brings your sister, family and dog back. I'm not saying its any less lame or there is a reasoning between bringing everyone back or just your loved ones but that's how the game was written and that's how it plays out
