In no order in particular, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed 2, Mass Effect 2, Spyro 2, Ratchet & Clank 2. The latter 2 may or may not be there just so I don't need to bother making a top x requiring me to compare very different games, though I still love them just the same.

Also, I noticed Ratchet & Clank, particularly 2 and 3 seem very popular on the escapist. HINT HINT Insomniac, can you stop shitting on the franchise and make them good again please.

I liked The Future" series. Deadlocked, now THERE was a disaster. Here's hoping All4one is OK.

I Liked future 1, I greatly disliked future 2 (where were my funny videos to go the next planet? Where were my "why is billy sad?" Is deadlocked gladiator? Because I loved that game. It was still funny, the combat was good and they perfected the weapon modifications. Too bad there were too few weapons, but other than that and the lack of plat-forming, I never understood the dislike to it.

The lack of platforming. Deadlocked was just Ratchet 1-3 with no platforming. That's my reason anyway.

I wasn't a big fan of the more serious tone either but it served it's purpose.

Fair enough, I didn't really mind personally but each to their own. But I disagree with serving its purpose - a Lombax who goes up in arms when Nefarious starts causing bad stuff, but when the guy who wiped out his entire species does it, he's totally cool with it and doesn't do anything? That rubbed me the wrong way.

I think Half Life 2 is my top game. Bastion is fucking sweet too. But then again, we got Psychonauts... Portal 2 was really good too. It's hard to choose 5 tops.
