I watch the credits regardless. These people (generally) worked hard on the game; they deserve my acknowledgment.
And yeah, sometimes the music really helps. Hearing Faunts' "M4 (Part II)" after finishing Mass Effect really gave a sense that I accomplished something. At this point I sort of wish I'd stopped there and hadn't played 2 and 3...

Portal 2 is about the only game that I can think of that I've done that with. Mostly because other credits take too long.

Well the music and the epilogues are always nice incentives, but generally I like to sit back and watch the credits roll regardless for the sense of accomplishment it imbues in me and it offers a moment of reflection on the experience. There are exceptions where the credits drag on for an unreasonbly long time; see Dragon Age: Origins, okay completing the epic journey and defeating the Archdemon is nice and everything but having to spend literally 20 minutes watching all those names go by and have the increadibly jarring and incongruous (though not necessarily bad on it's own merits) 'This is War' 2/3 times kind of soures it for me. But yeah, otherwise I generally like running through the credits, altough games which enable you to skip them on repeat playthrough's, or more likely just a reloaded save to see a different ending are also very much welcome.

That's one of my favorite ending credits, and close second if I had to rank it. That game had one of the best game soundtracks I've heard in a while, and I actually listened to that one a few hours ago.

I was just going to say that. If you watch the ending of I want to want to say Tools of Destruction they tank some guy named "Captain" Kirk. Now I know they call the guy that but come on that's funny. Also the sheep thing at the end of Going Commando was funny as hell.
