So today i just completed Mass Effect I for the 3rd time.
And for the 3rd time i thought the games main story was way too short
I also noticed that this had happened to me in other games as well

So i was wondering, hve you guys ever played through a games main story and have it end way too soon?

Dragon Age seemed to rush itself in the end. I wanted a bit more closure on the whole damn thing, but instead you get to decide if you want to be baby's daddy, make silly-***** a king, kill Benedict Arnold, and if you want to janitor the final boss or not.

And they all come one after another.

Batman Arkham Asylum seemed really short for me. Once I looked at how many play hours I put in I decided it was because I was enjoying it so much, but it seemed like they just tried to throw Boss Badies at you one after another, and after the first exploration of areas didn't worry about adding in any filler in between,

Yeah, I recently played Jet Grind Radio, and while I was expecting it to be short, I didn't expect that I would beat it six hours after I started it.

Madworld. The way the guy ties up all the loose ends in a monolouge right after the final boss fight pissed me off, though at least you can catapult people into the moon.

CoD6 was waaaay too short for 80 bucks.
And I love Mass Effect with all my heart but I agree, the main story can be beaten in around 10 hours or less. The news that ME2 comes on 2 discs is very welcome if you ask me.

God of War I and II.

They're really fun, but really short. Like maybe 7 or 8 hours tops.

This. I still really hope we get a sequel, though.

Devil May Cry 4.

It was only 2 hours long because at that point I stopped playing and sold it back to the shop.

The main story was pretty short and underwhelming. Especially compared to Morrowind

But the game was still fantastic

Ditto. It would be a crime against humanity to deny of us this game's sequel. Make it happen, Nintendo/Sega!

You know, I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks this - I've almost completed Mass Effect for the first time and, for this gigantic, far-reaching epic that everyone's been telling me about... I was expecting more then ten hour's playtime, most of which was me swearing at an autosave that doesn't automatically save anything...

Sega seemed happy with the sales of the game, so I suppose it isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

Mass Effect is way longer if you want it to be, do some exploring, check all the asteroid fields for stuff, investigate uncharted worlds, all that (although I do think they could have had more worlds to explore)

I know, I've beaten it 11 times.

If you want, it can be a long game of around 30-40 hours, but it'll be a long game of very boring and samey side quests.
