As Tophat reached the top floor of the building he saw the Frumentarius and several more Assassins firing upon the group. He is stopped by a Praetorian standing in front of him. "You face me now, Profligate." the Praetorian said to Tophat as he charged with his Ballistic Fist at the ready.
The Legion forces became annoyed at Erica's taunting and began focusing fire on her.
OOC: Group 1 now.

The shot impacted in her chest but the neo-steel fiber apron and dress were able to absorb most of the punch, but EMily still had the wind knocked out of her. She hid behind cover again for the next round. She located the sniper and sweeped her piercing laser across him.

Laguna smirked at the result of his shot, but as he ducked behind cover, he saw EMily and Erica taking fire. EMily seemed allright, but Erica was getting hit a lot. "Get back into cover!" Laguna shouted. He summoned the machine gun, spraying lead at a cluster of Assassins.
EMily's laser cut the ears off the Frumentarius' fox head as he ducked to avoid the attack. "Not bad. For a woman." He remarked as he fired at her again.
Several more Assassins were killed by The Assassin's explosive attack. The majority of the Legion forces switched their attention to him.
The Assassins still attacking Erica were forced into cover by Laguna. They hurled grenades at his position and opened fire on him.
OOC: Group 2, you're up.

Erica, covered in bullet wounds, teleported closer to the Legionaires.

Erica launched 5 homming energy discs at the Legion before teleporting back into cover and starting the healing process.

The Frumentarius watched at Erica cut down 5 more Legionaires and teleport away. "The Destroyer has made powerful allies. What strange being is this that takes the appearance of a woman?"
The lesser experienced Legionaries were beginning to show fear at the overwhelming force they've been put up against. A Veteran Decanus shouted out, "We fight to the last man! Mars give us Strength!" The Legionaries seem heartened by this and renew the assault.
The Praetorian let out a laugh as he was stabbed. "It will take more than that to put down a Praetorian of the Legion!" He pulled out Tophat's sword and tripped Tophat. The Praetorian made a punch at Tophat while he was prone.

The Assassin rolls out of the way of the gunmen, then creates a Haze Shield.
OOC: That's basically just a barrier of hot air coming from the ground which fucks everyone's vision.
The Seer puts an Assassin in a Psychic Hold, and forces him to spray his rifle at the other Assassins.

"Oh yeah?! You carrying a sniper rifle to compensate for something?!" She snapped at him. She then drew an enormous amount of energy (the maximum that she can without going into Photon Form) and fired it at the sniper blowing away his cover and striking with incredible heat and force. She went back down to take a breather to rejuvenate her almost depleted energy.
Laguna's eyes widend as the explosives and lead flew towards him. He threw up a barrier nade, deflecting the explosives, and summoned the Ragnarok. "Try this on for size!" He charged up it's beam, then leaned out and unloaded into the side of the enemy building.
The few Assassins left attacking The Assassin back off and try to fire at him through their blurred vision. One of them manages to kill the Assassin affected by the Psychic Hold.
"I will enjoy making you pay for those insults." The Frumentarius shouts at EMily. He drops his rifle and walks toward the stariwell, drawing his Machete Gladius.
Laguna's attack destroyed most of what were left of the Legion ground forces. The Decanus ordered what remained of his men to continue focusing fire on him.

mia had bean sneaking around the back after not being given a gun, she had finaly made it behind frumentarius, whilst trying not to get shot by her team she kicked him in the back of his left knee then grabed his machete and threw it away she then held her sword to his throught from behind
