Regulus formed a vortex that absorbed Laguna's shots and cancelled out EMily and Winona's attack with a beam of shadow, but then Dromaeus stabbed it in the back with the dagger.
It felt its soul leaving its body.
"A-a weapon that extracts souls?! I-impossible!"
Regulus grabbed Dromaeus by the arm and slinged him of its back. It then pulled out the dagger and trew it away.
Regulus fell to the ground and its aura decreased in size as the stab from the dagger weakened it.

Laguna rolled out of the way of the shadow blast. He got on one knee to steady his aim, then drew the sniper and fired into Regulus' chest. "Whatever he's doing just fight past it!"
The heroes of Sovngarde laid into Regullus as one, while they called out to Dromaeus who was writhing in horror.
