AEanna smiled at Tanner more shyly.
"We have not met before. What is your name?" As she spoke, Regulus's words continued to burn at her mind. She pressed a clenched fist to her forehead.
"Damn you, shut up!" she growled under her breath. Accepting the bottle of blood from Tophat she drank it without even thinking to ask where it came from, or worrying about who was watching. Dromaeus watched this happen with discontent, his tail swishing and a hand on his sword hilt.

Jio walks over to AEanna. "Maybe I should use my left hand to remove him from her mind..." He suggested.

"Corporal Lenard Jerome Tanner, but you can call me Jerome...or Tanner. It's very nice to meet you." I said happily. My smile fades as I see Kidd. 'Him.' I mentally growl. "Hey, AEanna, could you give me a hand? Do you have a weapon?" I ask her.
"Not her. Varger. You've seen our memories of him, haven't you? A poor soul that was, at some point, a good man. But he fell into the same trap you did, just causing suffering for it's own sake. You dont want to end up like him." Laguna looked over at AEanna. "Just ignore him. We have him beat. It's all just cries for attention."
"AEanna Lif-Ame, of Summerset Isle." she responded, breathing a sigh of relief as Regulus's voice left her, at least for now. She followed Tanner's gaze to see Kidd.
"He is the one who betrayed us most recently, is he not? Yes, I have my sword, dagger and magic. I will help you."

"I can control myself." AEanna growled. "I simply cannot tolerate you." Dromaeus heard and decided to add his own voice to the verbal battle.
"I really love hearing this Regulus!" he said out loud. "You cannot get to the strongest of us, so you search for the weakest mortar in the wall! This fits right in with the image of the mighty Regulus crawling in the mud, or the demon cribbing about its big scary brethren! What a joke you really are!"
OOC: Saltyk, they don't know how dangerous to Jio it would be though.
