OOC: Not on a temporary basis, next thread probably. Needless to say he has a 'party' with him now since I've been fleshing out the other two fleets and there has been quite a noticable time gap between his last appearance. I have the aesthetic of the other two fleets down but I just need names for em.

OoC: @Ven I see. I've been thinking about some things that could make Jio ridiculously powerful, but kinda worry that it would make him so powerful as to make him unfair. Also, been thinking if this continues into another thread and I keep him as a character, would I want him to go back to basic or keep him as he was at the end of this thread.

Regulus had finished opening the portal.
"At last... this took far longer than expected.
Now then, to Nosgoth!"

It walked through the portal and came upon a desolate wasteland. 8 massive pillars, albeit crumbled, dominated the skyline.
A foul grin appeared across Regulus' face.
"Yes... this is definitly the place. Now to find some vampires. Should not take to long...
It walked off into the distance.

OoC @Slenn: For when you come back.

There are so many references to a black hole in this thread, and yet everyone pictures a meter-wide black hole in combat and yet they don't realize how much mass that implies. XD
Again, Rule of Cool, man.
Doesn't have to make sense, aslong as it is bloody awesome. lol.

OOC: Varger will vaguely remember events, its been 600 years for him, his party includes Richard 'Dick' Davidson, Varger refers to him as 'prick' or 'the prick' because hes the only person to ever track him down. Hes a sort of conspiracy theorist and since news from other solar systems usually is distorted into myths he pieced trends together and sussed Varger out. Varger was going to kill him but realised if someone could track him down he would have many uses. Typical hacker type person. Also Kelly Ingrid (The Vanguard) suffered emotional trauma and was ejected from the COnglomerant but Varger found her, he tried to kill her and nearly succeeded but couldn't bring himself to do. She is the first example of Phase Technology successfully being integrated into a human, same as Varger was the first to have Faelon successfully integrated. Kelly swore to kill Varger for 'wearing Jason's face' but is still deeply infatuated with him despite his dismissive attitude towards her. He keeps her around because she can monitor the Conglomerant through her old contacts. I'm working on two more and have personalities down but they're from the other two fleets which need naming so still not done really.

Jio wakes up and walks outside. "Well, let's see how today goes."

OoC: @Ven Well, if you wanna name the fleets, I would suggest mythology for that kinda thing.
@Nailik I'm okay with certain things, but from time to time I want things to make logical sense.

OOC: I've got everything but the name down here is the setting. Warning may wall of text.

2356 AD

Humanity is sprawled across its Solar System and is governed by (Unnamed) Corporations fund colonisation projects and use the resources to further R and D of Cybernetics to ease space exploration. (Unamed) tries to curb the advances with sanctions but the corportations simply take to space, where laws mean nothing. Little is seen of the newly formed Conglomerant aside from the midnight hulls of their ships and their goods on the market. (Unnamed) Takes to space in a fleet of its own, to enforce law and government upon the far stretching human colonies where lawlessness has become the norm. The conglomerant sells to all and the (Unnammed) Attempts to stop the undermining of its authority and an armistice is agreed. The conglomerant will become a merchant fleet, a nation unto itself but must answer and operate under the boundaries set by the unnamed. The days of the fleets have begun.

2487 AD

A mysterious shuttle lands upon earth and a robed figure exits. It lays claim to earth and warns of the coming of its kind, who rightly own the galaxy. Technology doesn't work and humanity flees for its life from the Old. The (Unnamed) seeks to establish a new human government among the stars and leaves first, becoming the largest fleet as numerous ships are constructed to carry the fleeing humans. The Old however are not hostile and simply gave the humans the chance to settle in another area of space. The Conglomerant leaves after the unamed and plies field tests its new Phase Technology which ends in disaster as the numerous Hab ships and other members of the fleet appear within a Red Giant. The radiation nullifies their ability to breed and they become intesly focused on cybernetics to expand their lifetime, all the while conquering any far flung humans or alien species who were not profitable to trade with. This includes many primitive species. A large number of humans remain on earth however, believing the old to be the gods of all mythologies combined and they listen to the Old with religious intent. They became the last and smallest fleet, also the most mysterious that drifts the Void in crystalline ships that spread the word of the Old. Relations between the fleets are rare too find but they stay in communication

2800- onwards (Setting)

The fleets have been drifting for centuries and relations have become strained over distance. They fight for domination of the millions of colonies that they each have a claim to while the colonists themselves have to scrape by, caring little for the fleets. It is here your story is set. What do you care of these events? The fleets are distant while the troubles of home are close. There is word from origin 001 of movement by the Old and that occupies the minds of many but at the end of the day people just try to make as much Ooze as they can, to either by their way onto one of the fleets or crawl into a bottle for the rest of their life. Humanity is fractured, aliens are subjigated and might makes right in a galaxy that is cold and unforgiving so you have to colder and less forgiving.

OOC: Yeah, I wasn't really being uptight or anything. I was just pointing out that, while I'm going to go along with it, black holes are a lot stronger than people make them out to be. XD

OOC:mad:knife-28 i was just thinking out loud but if the orks did that then you would have an orkish horde in both the present and future. Not good for the masses
OOC: Well, they would still be there. The apocalypse was, quite obviously if you think about it, caused by the Chaos, Ork, Reaper and probably some more invasions.

OOC: I mean that you would have Kaptin bluddflagg creating a fleet of makeshift kruzers and probably detonate the planet

Ok I'm off for the night.

OoC: Oh yeah. And between the Reapers and the Conlgemerate in orbit, I guess most satilites are destroyed, so that's probably a fair few communication blackouts.

After a while of wandering, Regulus finally came across a group of suitable vampires.
They were clad in crimson armour, each wearing a mantle wich a difrent insignia on it.
Finally.
Yet, again. This took far longer then anticipated....
Regulus thought as it aproached them.
"Greetings, creatures."
"My god! What is that beast?"
"Be cautious, brother. It might be one of the Hylden..."
"I say we slay it where it stands!" One of the vampires said as it drew its sword.
"Now, now. No need for such hostilities.
I hath come to make thee an offer."

"We do not consort with the likes of you, demon! Return to the abyss that spawned you!"
Typical...
"Very well, then. We do this the hard way."
Regulus trapped the vampires in a gravity well and dragged them towards the portal...

OoC @Gear: Don't forget the comming of Chaos.
Also, Regulus killed just about everybody in Napoli and Mexico.
