As the voices bacame louder and more clear, the militia man picked up the pace.
Ohhh. I remember that voice... it was the last one I ever heard.

After following the sound of the voices, the militia man finally found the group.
He look through the scope of his rifle and opened fire on AEanna.
"Fuckin' die." he mumbled.

OOC: Well, my plan was that AEanna would demand to be killed and that Dromaeus would do it, causing him to return to his old bitter, hateful ways, but the fact is there are too many ways that the group can keep AEanna sustained without even the fake risk of infecting someone, so I guess it'll have to end with a hail of bullets.
Laguna heard gunfire. He rolled behind cover. "Now, of all times?" He peeked out with the sniper rifle, trying to get a good shot.
Dromaeus snapped into action when he heard the gunfire, but several shots ripped just past his leg, and one struck AEanna in the cheest, throwing her to the ground. Dromaeus raised his shield as he whirled to face the shooter.
"For that, your life is forfeit! WULD NAH KEST!!!" The shout carried him instantly to within a few metres of the gunman. He raised his war axe, roared, and charged at the man.
OOC: @Nailik No need to tell me. Unfortunately as I say, we pretty muc have to ignore things like Tophat's abilities for her to survive in the short term. We coud explain away blood banks in that she wouldn't steal from a medical facility, but Tophat is kind of the big issue.
