The Reapers began their charge, and after a few minutes appeared in visual range of the whole group, Galen allowing the beasts to pull ahead of him to mask his presence.

"We need to try and keep our heads down. Everyone, back into the ship. Dont attack them unless they attack us."

Doctor Com slowly backed into the ship.

Meanwhile...
Roland begins writing about whats happening as we speak.

OOC: Outis Don't worry, its small arms fire and crazed Sith Lord only. For now, anyway.

The husks began their charge at the Chaos Marines, wailing like demons. Meanwhile the cannibals and marauders spread out and began firing on the Marines.

The Chaos Marines took positions and waited further order while Regulus rapidly began gathering power.
"Hold it... hold it...
Open fire! Let us make this day one that Khorne will be pleased about!"
The Marines fired short bursts at the Reapers.

Eris appeared by Regulus's side.
"I doubt they bleed blood. They're robots, remember?"

"You got it Laguna." EMily motions for Winona to follow her back into the ship.

Tophat gets an idea.
"I'm gonna go to Castel Sant'Angelo and get some explosives."
It carefully runs out of the ship and towards Sant'Angelo.

The explosive bolts from the Chaos Marines tore into the front line of husks cutting them down like wheat, but they poured forwards in the hundreds. Meanwhile, though the munitions fired by the ranged troop's mass accelerator rifles were unable to penetrate the Chaos Marine's armour to a fatal extent, they threw them off balance, ruined their aim, and caused painful wounds.

 

[Chungus]

Regulus scoffed at Eris while firing pillars at the Reapers.
"Be silent and make thyself useful for once."

Meanwhile, the Marines reformed formations infront of Regulus and steadied their aim once more.
"Keep firing, give them no quarter!"

Fixing the ship had been a long process, but we got it done. I was still happy to turn in when it was done though. I hear people making quite a racket and sit up from the cot I had been sleeping on. "What's going on?" I ask the group.

 

[Wackymon]

Eris shrugged, "Fine then."
She starts flinging pies at the reapers... that are acid and burn up any metal they come in contact with, causing the Reapers who are hit to be slowly burnt painfully, their humanity temporarily restored only to feel an antagonizing death.

Doctor Com grabs tanner, and runs inside the ship.
"Attack!"

 

[Random berk]

OOC: Mooks vs Mooks. This is unusual.

Galen watched as his army quickly began to sustain losses to the ten or so Marines, led by the demon of Chaos, and growled to himself.
"Looks like I'll have to deal with this personally." He began to sprint, amazingly fast, shoving his way through husks, before leaping high into the air. Activating his lightsaber in mid jump, he came down with one foot on a Marine's shoulder, one on his hip, and the glowing bloodshine blade straight through his chestplate. The Marine was smashed to the ground and Galen flicked his blade out of his chest, severing the right arm of another Marine before the others could turn their weapons on him.

OOC: @Wacky they couldn't restore their humanity, almost all organic material has been taken out of these things. They aren't called 'husks' for nothing.

Laguna saw Tanner. "I'd recomend keeping your head down. We got one hell of a battle outside the ship, and I'd rather not join up!"
