Galen landed on his feet after having missed Regulus and threw himself behind some rubble as Regulus retaliated. He glanced over at the battle that raged on behind him. The husks that were attacking the two surviving Chaos Marines were gradually encircling them, but with fresh attackers cut off by the blodletters, they would have to bring them down immediately or not at all. The Marauders and cannibals had sustained significant losses and were in full retreat, managing to keep the bloodletters at bay with greater firepower than the Chaos Marines had had. The brute still swung wildly, but as he watched, a bloodletter sliced through one of its knees and it fell, with many more of the abominations scrambling up on the giant creature, stabbing and cutting.
"Damn it, we need to fall back and rethink our strategy." he said to himself, before rising out of cover and using a powerful Force push on Regulus, throwing him back.
"All troops, full retreat!" He shouted, sprinting at the blodletters and cutting several more down as he went to rejoin his troops. Once there, he glanced back at Regulus.
"Finish playing with your fellow propagators of Chaos!" he shouted. "We will be waiting, and next time we will come in full force!"
