Regulus flew back into the coliseum, placed the tainted Soul Gem on the altar and send streams of its black aura into it.
Time for a change of plan once more... this will suit me far better.
At last I will be rid of that wich plagued me for so long...
Regulus teleported to the group and imediately rained down energy blasts.

Laguna jumped back, firing at Regulus almost on instinct. "We got company!"

Tophat released Rose and grabbed its sword from the ground, dropping the stick.
"Damn!"
It rolls to the side to avoid a energy blast and made its way towards Regulus, firing its pistol at it.

OOC: I'm assuming the battle is outside the ship.

"At last." EMily said, and they sent their harvested energy into their hearts, activating Photon and Boson Forms. The zipped out of the way at the speed of light to avoid the energy blasts. They went outside along with the rest of the group. EMily let out a huge howl as she fired her Solar Laser at Regulus. Winona combo-ed with an intense Neutron Beam.

"Greetings!
I thought I would save thou the trouble of traveling to my lair and face thou here and now.
How very kind of me, eh?" Regulus said as it formed vortexes to absorb the incomming attacks.

AEanna lowered her hands, cancelling the ward that she had cast to fend off the energy blasts, and drew her katana.
"Kind of you indeed."

Laguna stopped firing when he saw the bullets had no effect. "Thanks. Now we can put a stop to you right here."

"O-Okay. I'll keep that in mind." Rose said to Tophat.
She shrieked as Regulus showed up and ran for cover. from the blasts.

Four and Yes-Man's armor let them shrug off Regulus' blasts like raindrops.
"Well look who showed up." Four said as she opened fire with her 8mm machine-gun.
"Hey now! Don't kill it before I can get a shot in!" Yes-Man said as he fired at Regulus with his Gatling Laser.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat stops about ten meters from Regulus, reloaded and kept firing at it.
"How kind."
It mutters.

EMily and Winona repositioned themselves. EMily fired a huge electron beam, several times more dense in electric charge thanks to the Photon form. Winona sent out a volley of invisible Z0 bombs to knock him around a little.

AEanna raised her left hand and cast a lightning spell at Regulus.

"Hath thee concocted a way to dispose of me yet?
For thou must know by now that simple attacks art most ineffective." Regulus tauntingly remarks as once again absorbs the shots and beams with vortexes.
"Frankly, I am insulted by these pitiful attacks.
Here, take them back."
The vortexes spat all they had absorbed at Four. Regulus followed up by firing its own beams at Laguna.

Laguna threw a barrier grenade, Regulus' attacks bouncing off the resulting sphere. "You come here just to taunt us, or are you actually gonna fight? Or better yer, surrender so we dont have to put up with this all over again."

 

[Kirke]

Tophat holstered its pistol and sprinted up to Regulus, cutting at its outstretched arms with a twohanded strike.
"Oh shut up already!"

 

[Slenn]

EMily and Winona shot themselves at the speed of light and slammed into it several times before it could react, EMily attacking with antimatter slashes with each strike and Winona with her W- hammer to unleash a huge cascade of radiation at it.

EMily and Winona stood and got their footing before raising their energy level from 1 to 25 GeV per particle.

AEanna ended her ice shards spell and darted forward, striking for Regulus's face wth her katana.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hmmm, that's right. Ranged attacks have a hard time breaking through. Yes-Man! We're moving up close!" Four said.
"You've got it!" Yes-Man responded.
The two of them got closer to Regulus to get ready for a different approach.

Regulus was trown back by the flurry of slashes, but simply laughed as it regained its balance.
"Pitiful indeed...
After all the suffering and despair I absorbed, these attacks art not even noticable anymore."
Regulus flew up and fired a volly of shaodw blasts at the group before teleporting to their backs and blasting them with beams.

ooC @Slenn: No, Regulus doesn't bleed as its body is literally negativity given form.

Laguna dodged the blasts, then ran behind the barrier to avoid the beams. "So, not giving up then." He ran out of cover, shotgun booming.
