Sniper had wandered off to look for a new mode of transportation, and sulk over the loss of the old one, when he heard fighting. He pulled out his rifle and saw there was a fight just starting. He decided, since he didn't know anything about what was happening, to keep himself hidden and just watch.
"AH!!" Joe shouts as he sees the grenade. Joe barely had enough time to put up enough Lightning flames to shield himself from the blast. but he's launched far away.
As the attacks collided with the soldier the went into a crouched position, raising cover made of Faelon from the floor, one of them picked up the grenade and threw it back before the 4 soldiers opened fire with their Cyclon Shard Rifles.
Varger continued to duel with the Arch-Mechanist. "You don't remember Null duels do you? I will oblige you because I respect your service record, win or lose though and you're coming with me. First we change the settings of the Null Fields target, you know how to do that? Good and now we can cross blades, however we have a limit of 50 strikes against eachother or we both die. sound fair?" Varger said nothing instead swinging with the hovering blade at the Arch-machist who took a proper stance and began deflecting the blows.
OOC: Conglemerant SOldier are anything but dime a dozen. When the Buericratic Conglamerant used a Phase Drive when fleeing earth, the accidently passed through a red dwarf, rendering all aboard the 700.000+ strong fleet sterile.

"49! I won't swing again." The Arch-Machinist said kicking Varger away. "Specialist, activate the Ygdrassil system." One of the soldiers stopped firing and with drew and obelisk of Faelon and planted it in the ground, within an instant it greq and sprouted 'branches' of wires. Digital chains emerged and grabbed Varger pulling him towards the metallic tree. "Bastard." Varger said. "COuldn't you have just left me? I was getting on fine. iwas finally living for myself." The Arch-Machinist sighs. "Orders are orders." Varger struggles against the chains but is unable to break free. "Fuck it, I can't go back now! I had so much...oppurtunity!" He screams.
As Joe was flying he pulled out the IS unit he had drawn. Using it he rights himself, and flies back to the others. "This thing is too big..." Joe says as he feels all enclosed in the mecha. He then smashes it to pieces, leaving the propulsion system still intact.
OOC: Yep and the AI that shackles Varger is known as the Chains of Fenris, lest the chains shatter and the wolf of Fenris kills Odin. ALot of Norse mythology is in the V.A.R.G.E.R system. Ygdrassil= The world tree Jormundungr= the world serpent
