Eddie woke up and jumped out of his car. He walked over to those standing near the ship.
"Howdy folks."

"It's all my fault you got hurt yesterday. I know you're just gonna contest me here, but I can't help but think that I'm a bad mother again." Four said to Tanner quietly.

Rose zapped to outside the ship, her hair still a little wet and her clothes now nice and clean. "Hi Eddie!"

Jin sees Eddie and Rose. "Hello." There is no emotion in his voice as he speaks. It's little more than a formality.

"Hello, Rose.
How are you today?"

"Four...I expected Conall to be waiting for me...I hoped he wouldn't, but I expected him to attack me. I let it happen, because I wanted to test his conviction. To test how far gone he is. I'm fairly pleased with how the test went." I say with a small smile at the end.

"I'm better! Sorry I got so mopey yesterday, I'm not gonna let it happen again!" Rose declared. She gave Jin a wave and a smile.

"What do you mean? He tried to kill you!...And I couldn't do anything to stop it..." Four lamented.

 

[Chungus]

"Yeah, that's the spirit! Keep it up." Eddie said to Rose before walking over to Jin.
"Hey. Made any progress with that necklace?"

"Four..." I put my hands on her shoulders. "He stopped himself. That's what I wanted to see. He made his own decision and decided not to kill me...either that or he just lost his grip on the sword...but I prefer the former possibility." I say quietly.

Tophat stares at the soul gem, then puts it in itself and sends a part of itself into it again.
(Inside soul gem: "HELLO? ANYONE HERE?")

"It seems to be a low ranking O-Part with a flame effect. Nothing more" Jin replies to Eddie.

Within the Soul Gem, Jio continues to drift. I think I saw flashes of light in the distance yesterday, but that could have been my imagination.

Rose smiled at Eddie and walked over to the stage. She took out her red notebook and started sketching again.

Because from the stories i've heard, that thing sounds pretty damn important." Eddie says to Jin.
"And don't these O-parts have multiple effects?"

"Some do. Some don't. My own O-Part is a B rank with one effect. Some can have two or more. Depends on the rank to some extent. I've seen C ranks with two effects and A ranks with one."
