OOC: Really that bad eh? My top list goes like (In no order)
The saga of Darren Shan
The Edge Chronicles
Inheritance
Gaunt's Ghosts (Obligatory 40k book series, think Sharpe in space)
(For book series anyway, read loads of singular books and have been meaning to read/watch game of throns (A song of ice and fire) and the wheel of time series.
I grew up along with Eragon, he was 15 when I was 13-14 and Christopher Paolini was 15 when he wrote the first book. He was my hero, a young author that I hoped to become but never did because all my novels do is stagnate after awhile.

OoC: @Saltyk That was the one. I gave up after two, partially because the characters were getting annoying and partially because I started noticing all the ripped-off plot points. You want good teen-to-young-adult fantasy? Try Gone or Skullduggery Pleasent.
@Ven I hear ya. I started writng a book, got two chapters in, and then poof, couldn't come up with anything else. I may bring in the portagonist from that as an OC sometime.

OoC: @Rosh As soon as I reached the end of book 2, that is what I thought word for word.
@Ven Made an edit to my last post talking to you.

Jio sees the IS pilots, but doesn't acknowledge them, deciding to focus on his own goals.

OoC: Well, Eragon kinda has a reason to be a Mary Sue. The villain is pretty ridiculous.
Considering he was able to take control of Eragon's brother while he was fighting the only other Dragon Rider still living and overpower him, despite the fact that this guy was completely owning the kid. Seriously, how the Hell is that possible in this universe? I don't think it was ever established that you could do anything like that with magic. And it really bugs me.

OOC: Gear, the Varger OC I use is only the same in name. Varger is the character from my fantasy attempt at a book. I have so many ideas for the actual novel and had a plan but my word doesn't work so Im not writing on paper something like that. I toke it down to CBA the reason I never do anything really.

OoC: Me? Sticking with Fanfiction.... Either way.

"You might want to test trial that IS..."

Charlotte sighed. "Very well." She got up and started stretching

OoC: Actually, I haven't written anything down, but I have come up with various stories and characters. I mostly view them as potential mangas or webcomic material. Too bad I can't draw to save my life.
@Rosh Well, considering it is a world of magic that seems pretty fair. Still, I didn't really understand that one at all.

OOC: Thats turning into Space opera rather than Cyber-punk. The only thing remotely cyber-punk I have consumed is Syndicate and Deus Ex: Human Revolution so I feel I'd be better off having elements of cyber-punk evident in the colonies and the Conglomerant but the other two fleets and colonies that bend towards them prominantly are very not cyber punk.

OOC: Galboatorix is able to give his strength to Murtagh during the fight in the same way Eragon can borrow from Saphira's, coupled with Murtagh carrying an undisclosed amount of Eldunari and that Oromis had dropped his sword, where he keeps all of his power and enchantments to hold off his fits.

OoC: @Ven Still an interesting mythos. I'd like to see more of it.
@Saltyk Introduce one as an OC maybe, give them a test run.
@All Anyway, shall I come on proper or not?

OOC: Varger will be coming back, I am sure of that.

Laguna walked out of the ship, yawning. "I needed a rest after last night."

OoC: @Rosh Lately, my style on this has changed from "activley engage" to "lurk until someone needs me." Not sure if it's the right thing to do.
@Ven Now you got me excited.

"Yeah, it's nice to sleep. You don't realize how nice it is until you don't do it for a while." Jio replies to Laguna with his eyes still closed.

OoC: Varger returning should be interesting. Jio already said that if Varger returned as a threat he would personally kill him.

"Hey Jio. You allright? Being stuck in that gem for so long can't have been pleasent."

OoC: @Ven Might as well, if it's no trouble.
