OOC: A Phase Sling is differant from a Phase Jump. Ships attach themselves to a star's core by a Phase Tether before rotating around it at speed, stopping and changing direction which creates a vast amount of energy that is channeled through the Phase Tether and into the 'dive' engines of the ship which move the ship through out of Phase to its destination which is faster but not as reliable and accurate as a planned Phase Jump.
