OoC: @Gearhead Ah, no you're right. I'm going with the idea that Jio's mind has weakened since the events of his story and thus Satan is more free to try to influence him. Really Satan is trolling him more than anything. In the source material, there were plenty of times where we see that Satan had been able to speak to him. Usually in his dreams or when he was under some stress, though. I'm taking some minor liberties to tell a better story for the RP.

When EMily got off of Weissritter, she came over and hugged Joe, (the best she could, Joe being a stick figure and all.)

"I think I understand. You have something trying to bend you to it's will, right?." He positioned himself directly in front of Michael. "Look into my eyes. Listen to me. You are stronger than whatever it is. Remember who you are. What you value. Who your friends are. I'm your friend. Joe is your friend. Everyone here is your friend. Don't forget that."

Varger was still confused and so barely noticed Micheal freaking out. He kept thinking back to what Hazama had been saying. He was right in a way. Surrounding himself with these when he could hide behind Kessler or Hazama while he gathered sttrength.
