Berethor looked at Mia as he heard her shout something, but she had not moved at all. "Yes?" he asked out loud, more than a little confused. Just then a crossbow bolt narrowly missed Mia's paralyzed body. Berethor quickly located the source of the projectile and, after setting Mia down on the closest bench, marched over to Beta. "You! How dare you attack a defenseless maiden! And a queen no less." he says angrily as he placed a hand on his sword. Beta simply walked away and Berethor let him go.
