Laguna kneeled down, and took their tags. It was the only thing he could do. He offered his hand to EMily. "I'm... I'm sorry. You knew them. You should take these."

He puts the object in his pocket and begins taking in the surroundings. Almost like he is looking for something in particular.

He then looks back at the odd flat man. "Finally noticed me? Just what kind of creature are you? I've never encountered anything like you before. Are you using some kind of O-Part?"
