"Oh, so you saw through my clever ruse, eh?" Jio laughed. "Well I wasn't exactly lying. I really was thinking about old times and how they relate to these days. Namely the threats we're facing." He paused for a moment before continuing.
"Before the forces I faced were dangerous, difficult, and deadly, but they all followed the same rules, if you understand my meaning. But it seems all the enemies we face here have different abilities and can follow rules totally alien to me. It's like I'm playing Go Fish and they're playing Poker. On top of that, we seem to be adding to our list as the day goes on. Kessler, Hazama, Alden, Pie Lord, whatever Varger's foes were called... I'm sure there will be more in time."

OOC: Yes about music being weird. I saw it,but Joe wasn't really paying attention to the music anyways. Um... ya...
Joe thought for a moment, sure Jio was right to consider the amount of enemies they faced, but there was a little hole in his thoughts. "That maybe true that we have a lot of enemies, but it isn't like they are all against us at once either. Alder and Kessler hate each other, Hazama can't really do much other than mind games, and..." Joe fell silent at the Pie Lord.
"The Pie Lord probably won't find his way here for quite a while. When I fell into this universe, I fell through a malfunctioning portal. They've been mapping out other universes to conquer next, them picking this one out of the zillions that exist is rather slim."
"And it isn't like we all play by the same rules either, I don't see you drawing giant punching gloves to attack enemies?" Joe said with a smile. "I've been through this once before, we'll be fine."

"You..? Oh right..." Joe remembered the one time Jio almost let Satan out. "But haven't you been dealing with him for a while right?"
"My entire life. But you have to understand that he is relentless. Even a moment of weakness on my part could be enough. That's why I ignored Hazama today. I knew better than to tempt fate." Jio didn't know if he could impress how truly terrible Satan was upon Joe.
"Given the name, that doesn't surprise me... I don't really have anything to really compare to that..." Joe thought for a bit.
"My universe is really small, the only person that ever threatened it before the Pie Lord was a man named Scarface. He really liked killing things, which could be a problem if I wasn't killable in the 2D realm. I'd fight him sure, but I'd never win... But I kept everyone else safe, and that's what matters." Joe smiled.

"My world had plenty of dangers. The Stea government. The Zenom Syndicate. There were plenty of rotten O.P.T.s out there. Not to mention the 20 recipes of the Kabbalah, including Satan." Jio seemed a little down, but then he looked at Joe and smiled.
"But I never gave up. I fought everyone of them with the help of my friends. And no matter how strong they seemed, we would defeat them. I wouldn't allow anyone to hurt innocent people. That didn't fit in my 'World Domination'. I think we understand each other in that way."
