@Jag Yes. Cameras. They're this thing that broadcast images and sounds to TVs. Like your absentee father looking at an identical copy of you and then hitting her in the face with a glass bottle.

"Oh god." Alastair said before smilig at the fact he was right of Sofia not being the one infront of him. "Jack! Listen to this! Sofia? (Acctual Sofia) How many times have you survived your uncle punching you when he was drunk?"

"17 times and i would never do that!" She said pointing at Sarah's hand. "I never got that scar!"

Tophat raises a hand in a salute to Knife, then jumps down from the tank.
"Ave!"

@Jag Sofia, Jack and Sarah are nowhere near Alastair.
And that's honestly her reaction to her father hitting someone who looks, sounds and acts like her?
And a grown man punched a toddler 17 times and her father did nothing!? Jack has the morals of a brick and he'd slaughter you for that.

OOC: No Alastair tried too but he would be executed for hurting the king so thats why Alastair killed him, For being drunk and he destroyed the defenses for the village making the village burn. A king wh o destroyed his own town.

OOC: Yes Alastair did kill his brother for hurting his daughter. He also killed him when Alastair found out that his brother/Kig took down the defences and made the town under siege.

@Jag Did I say she was there? And I don't think that 'let his brother punch a small child 17 times, then send her into battle then abandon her after she kills her mother for 18 years' is a backstory worthy of a hero.
If that was Sofia's life, she would be 100% loyal to Joel. Because he does that to people like her.

And Alastair would be executed for hurting the king (his brother?), so Alastair killed the king and now he's the king? What?
And kings don't live in towns. And why would Alastair let Sofia into his brother's care 16 times AFTER he hits her once?

Here's what I've got:

Alastair' brother is the king.
He hits Sofia.
Alastair does nothing.
Alastair then lets his alcoholic, child-abusing brother take care of his daughter another 16 times.
Alastair's town is invaded.
His wife goes insane.
He makes his four-year old, abused daughter fight trained soldiers.
He makes his daughter KILL HER MOTHER.
He fucks off for 14 years.
A man who is the perfect refuge for broken people (Joel) takes her in.
Alastair turns up, attacks her guardians and effectively kidnaps her. (Sofia wouldn't recognise him, because she hasn't seen him in 14 years and getting abused that much by her uncle is basically a recipe for repression. In fact, Joel would probably lock those years away, which would explain why she's so fucking stable).
He then forces her to fight in a campaign against her surrogate father, and constantly endangers her and straight-up ditches her.
He then betrays the group and sides with the Chaos (temporarily because of possession), the same people who attacked Sofia's village.

Actually, that makes Sofia refusing to convince her father to plead guilty and save his life in the refugee camp perfectly reasonable.
She was trying to kill him.

From where the objects had landed around the city, several contructs had sprung up around the city and had begun crackling with energy. The ships loomed ever closer but besides the constructs they were not deploying anything, which puzzled Varger.
