The Vanguard strides around. "Its been awhile Jason, I admit despite the circumstances-" She stops "Its nice to see you again." Varger manages to break his transfixion. "Again? What are you talking about?" The Vanguard ignores his puzzlement and looks at the others who had came. "I don't know whether to envy or pity you" She says before looking back at Varger. "You've got this all wrong Jason, we're not here to drag you back....we could have done that the moment you woke up" She holds up her arm "You're AI isn't dormant" She presses a button and Varger bows his head and falls to his knees. "You were never free to begin with."
"Oi get off him!" Alastair said pulling out his blade and taking 3 strides towards the Vanguard. "Try me."
Joel grins. "You... I like you!" he says to the Vanguard. "Manipulative, deceitful, mocking..."
The Vanguard holds up her arm and dark energy swirls around it. Alistair is warped from his position and suspended 20-000 feet in the air by the Void Array that the Vanguard was channeling. "I don't have time for bravery." She says before looking at Charlotte. "Variable Assault Reconaissance Generated Enhancement Rover or V.A.R.G.E.R model III. " She points at Varger. "His progenitors suffered many problems and he does as well but ever since his theft Dr. Wulden has been monitoring him through the A.I. Every event he'd been through was egged on subtely through sub-neuron transmission via AI link. Basicaly this was a test run for the system, to see how it performed in the field. THe Docter is...satified but the theft demanded a response and so we were dispatched...to reclaim the unit." She looks at Varger on his knees and says. "I wish I could have left him, he was designed to replace us." She gestures at the sky.
She holds up another hand and Tophat swirls and appears in her hand "Tampering is a punishable offense." She looks at everyone "Direct your questions to me please. He can't respond. Your actions against the Re-Purps have earned you the attention of Asgard and its CEO Dr Wulden." Her tone shifts. "Were you to have not killed one of my Machinists I would have been intersted as well...I will face the consequences for losing a man now."

Alastair saw Sofia and Sarah and Jack. "You..." He said before crashing down to earth and cracking One's back. "OW!" Alastair said as he saw his sword land at the point where Sarah was sitting making the chain stay in the exact spot it is in.
Four was sitting next to Mia, watching her sleep. She said to Two, "Do you have to have that thing out?"
Two was sitting in the corner with his Gauss Rifle at the ready. "It's for your own safety Four, you understand."
Four just sighed and went back to watching Mia sleep.
"OW! Just leave us alone you crazy fucker!" One said as he punched Alastair in the jaw with his Displacer Glove, launching him into the air and sending him a good 10 feet away.

The Vanguard sighs. "I knew him well. He served under me in this very detachment. He got his debiliating injury taking fire for me. I saw what that injury did to him." She looks at Varger again. "He was never meant for civilian life so I hooked him up with a friend in Asgard, Whalen, got him a security job their. When the V.A.R.G.E.R program initiated he was the only volunteer. I tried to talk him out of it but he wouldnt listen. Before the project was fully completed he was stolen and thrown into a Phase generator, warping him across dimensions. Asgard used this as an oppurtunity to test him, but we were dispatched by the Conglomerant to bring him back. The Dr wished to see his creation so he paid me to not capture him and bring him along."
