@Jag Joel isn't crossing the line at all.
And turning a character to the age of 100 would kill them.
Also, a duel has to end in a death. And Alastair lost.

@Jag: The king and the army are all dead. And a duel ends at death. So Alastair is dead. And we broke no rules:
1. You instigated the duel.
2. The king isn't a sidekick, nor is he your primary.
3. Mooks are free game.

OOC: @jag: you're right right one does not SIMPLY kill Alistair though at this point you have like three times and when you give us the opportunity we are by no means simple in our methods rather we are very creative....
