Emily's beam hit only one of the creatures as the others jumped out of the way before she fired.
The one that was hit was badly dammaged and lost its hind legs, but was still standing.
The wounded creature and one other focused their attention on EMily while the other three attack Reginald and Laguna.

Terumi felt something saw into his body. A beam from EMiy. He jumped to the side to minimize damage, just as another barrage of bullets and missles hit. He couldnt run towards the mechs again: they may be another miror image. He turned towards EMily. "You wanna play? Then lets play!!" He jumped towards her, trying to avoid the beam.
