Laguna kicked a stone towards the sphere, and the stone fizzled slightly, held in place, before it bounced of to the side with blinding speed. This'll be useful. Laguna sat up when he heard Erica. "Hm? Is there something wrong?"

"I have to agree with you two... his ambitions do change dramatically."

OOC: Also I want to comment on the Conglomerate and its desire to cheat the universe. Carl Sagan once said: "You can't break the laws of physics, there are no penalties for doing so." Basically meaning, if you're doing something that seems impossible, then there must be some hidden law that makes that phenomenon valid. So I wouldn't consider them cheating, rather more along the lines of doing things that are really really far ahead of their time. That's just my two cents. It's also how I view things a lot.

Laguna laid Erica down on a soft-looking spot, then backed off. He had seen a lot, but this was kinda new to him. He put both hands behind his head, looking around, and saw Varger. Laguna scrambled over to his gun.
