Reginald was idly playing with a stick of dynamite. He saw Joe practicing with a pair of scissors and a devilish grin spread across his face. "Hey Joe, let's see how good you are with those scissors." He lit the stick of dynamite and tossed it at Joe.
OoC: I know it has fire, but what's it look like a little sword? A dagger? A hippo?

EMily pops back in with Schrodinger. He's asleep on her lap. She took out her gun, Photon, once again. She opened up a holo-book titled "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors."
"Whether you're dead or alive Schrody, you're still adorable." She pets him and she relaxes herself with the other group members.

Instead of opening the sword to cut the wick, Joe simply batted the dynomite away with the flat part, right back at Reginald. "Back at you!"

"Alright Jin!" Joe readied the scissors again and made a fast overhead swing just to see how it felt to actually hit something with it.

"What do you think Schrody? Do you think we could probably pull of a hologram of the others in real time through a miniature time portal?"

Joe saw the spear heading for his body, he unhinged the scissors as one part impacted the ground, the now open scissors made a large blocking area. When the spear hit, the scissors barely budged. "The hinge needs work." Joe murmured as he started to close the scissors. He jumped over the spear and quickly doodled on the hinge of his giant 2D scissors. "That should do it." Joe said now on the other side of the spear and took another swing at Jin, aiming for his feet.

Jin jumped over Joe's slash and moved away to create some distance between them. "Impressive. Clever use of the scissors to block my attack, too and your ability to alter them is handy. But you should be prepared for more unconventional attacks as well."
Jin charged Joe with his sword held high and then swung it down into the ground using it to lift his body and kicked Joe in the chest.
OoC: It's really more of a sword, but I can understand your confusion. The hilt is really long.

Joe wasn't expecting the kick to the chest and flew into the air, but because blunt objects did very little to him, he quick recovered and grabbed his scissors again. Joe threw the scissors up in the air, and jumped up with them.
As he headed to Jin, it seemed like Joe was going to miss completely, too far behind Jin. But as Joe stuck the landing he grabbed for one of the handles making one of the scissor blades fly out in Jin's direction.
