As the scissors missed Jin completely they hit the ground causing a dust cloud to form as they impacted the ground nearly. Joe was really surprised he didn't get Jin there, Jin was definitely faster than him right now, something he'd have to fix with the next scissors.

Just then Joe saw through the dust as Jin brought his O-part to stab Joe. Joe managed to duck out of the way, getting hit slightly on his head, but managed to pull one of the loops of the scissors into position to have the sword pass through the hole.

With the scissors in a vertical + shape, and sword stuck in the horizontal loop, Joe kicked off from the flat part of the horizontal blade.

This did two things, gave Jin a really hard time holding onto his blade as it was torqued out of his hands as the scissors spun, and Joe was now hurtling towards Jin ready to give him a punch to the chest.

"That depends. Do you want to talk with our AIs?"

Charlotte yawned. "We are pretty tired..."

OoC: I actually have some scissors with me right now, just spinning them around seeing if what I'm doing can even happen =P

"Sure. Maybe they're more fun." Reginald said to Charlotte and Laura nonchalantly, playing with another stick of dynamite.

The girls shrug, their bodies transforming back to the form of Beowulf and Valkyrie.

"You guys rang?"

Beowulf started playing her with sword, bored.

Jio was watching the fight between Jin and Joe, but he had seen the cat and heard it's description. He had no idea what any of it meant. He saw Charlotte and Laura descending and waved at them.

Jin was knocked forward by Joe's punching him in the back and lost his grip of Ashura with one hand, but barely managed to hold onto it with the other hand which he used to pull it forward and away from Joe's scissors. He stumbled forward, but kept moving to get away from the dust cloud, and turned around to face towards Joe.

"Okay, let's have a little fun with this and kick it up a notch." Jin's Spirit rose and channeled into his O-Part. Maximum Spirit! Initiate Effect. "Blue Flame Pillar!" Jin brought his sword in a vertical slash and created a pillar of blue flame that approached the dust cloud.

Oh, God. I think Jin might be getting carried away...

EMily closes her holo-book and dematerialized Photon. She holds Schrodinger in her arms and walks over to the other girls.

"Hey EMily!" cooed Beowulf.

 

[Drakmorg]

Reginald's interest was perked by the two new figures. "Well, hello there." He says to the both of them.

Four walked over to Valkyrie and Beowulf, "Who're the new guys?" She asks.

 

[Slenn]

"Hello there Beowulf." "Hello Valkyrie." She smiles as she continues to pet Schrodinger.

As the blue pillar approached the dust cloud, Joe used the 'hool-a-hoop' trick to blow the dust away. His eyes widened as he saw the blue pillar. "OH BALLZ!!"

Joe charged the scissors with lightning flames, which added a shielding and piercing effect to the scissors and swung at the blue pillar as he momentarily disrupted the pillar as he jumped through. Joe looked back at the pillar, then at Jin. "Ok... that was a cool trick!"

"Name's Valkyrie, the AI of Laura's IS."

"I'm Beowulf!"

Beowulf playfully hops over to EMily. "Nice cat!"

 

[Slenn]

"Hehe, thank you! My former master, James Mason, helped create him. He's alive and dead ONLY when you look away from him."

<color=blue>"Hello there Beowulf! I see you're seeing me in my alive state. Nice to meet you!" He smiled.

"Hello there!" Three and Four both say to Beowulf and Valkyrie at the same time.

"Thanks. It's one of my Special Moves. All the best OPTs have them. We use our mastery of our O-Part's effects and knowledge of the O-Part itself to create extra powerful attacks. I'm sure you've seen Jio do it before. I'm sure you could do similar things if you tried. In fact, you seem to have done just that right now." Jin smiled at Joe, and readied his O-Part. "Shall we continue?"

OoC: I've basically decided that both Jio and Jin each have three special attacks.

"Ahhhh i get it! Schrodinger cat. Sorry, Tabane Shinonono create the IS with technology based on string theory and the Uncertainty Principle. It was the way how an IS is deployed. And she did this stuff when she was only 15 years old!"

Valkyrie nodded. "A famous saying in our time is 'Only Tabane would know.'"

"What? This?" Joe pointed to the scissors. "I drew these a couple of hours ago. They aren't an O-part." Joe smiled as he said. "Let's see you handle this..." Joe spun the scissors around again, making a small dust cloud, then there was a small slash through the cloud. As the cloud quickly dissipated, Joe wasn't there anymore.

Joe had twisted himself and his scissors, and was making a break for Jin. He'd have to twist back to do anything, but Jin would be surprised for sure!

 

[Slenn]

"I wonder if James Mason new Tabane from his history books. He helped develop the unification laws surrounding the fundamental forces of nature including gravity."

OOC: That's what James Mason is for EMily's backstory. He's basically the person who raised EMily and her sisters. He existed at around 3000 AD.

 

[Drakmorg]

Reginald took a long pull from his flask as the others began using words he had no inkling of their meaning. Three and Four both walked up and Reginald began to pass the flask between them.

Beowulf shrugged. "Probably. Tabane did happen to hack 1342 ICBMs at Japan just to prove that the IS could be used..."

Valkyrie rolled his eyes. "She was an asshole back then... She's still an asshole today. Putting these girls through...."
