Berethor heard a buzzing in his ears, but it wasn't the voices. They had been reduced to a distant chatter. He stared up into the sky, his helmet having been knocked off, and wondered what had happened. He vaguely felt his right hand blindly grouping for his sword, his armored fingers making little gouges in the soft dirt. He sat up with considerable difficulty and began looking around with an uncomprehending expression.
"Oh I'm sorry Five..." Joe put the cat down. He then heard gun shots. "Be careful Five!" Joe said as he ran over the hill to see what was happening.
He saw Laguna badly wounded firing at a giant mecha.
He ran up so he was in front of Laguna. "Silly question but are you ok?" Joe said back to Laguna as he stared down the mecha.

Laguna ignored Joe. There was only so much you can take in at once when you took a hit to the head like that. He stood up, and watched the mecha fly away. He walked over to Berethor shakily, blood all over his face from his wound. "Is... Is he allright?"
Reginald Booed at Tabane for leaving. "Goodnight everybody! You've been a great crowd." He said, his voice dripping with bitter sarcasm. He folded up the chair and put it in his bag before walking over to Berethor and the others.

"Damn monster!" Jio looks at Berethor. "Hey, are you okay?" He had noticed the giant fist going by his head, but he ignored it. It wasn't a concern, right now.

Berethor saw Laguna approach him and looked at his head wound curiously. Questions formed in his mind, but his tongue seemed unable to form the words. He grew frustrated and stood, wobbling a bit as the earth seemed to shift under his feet.

Joe ran over and made sure Laguna wasn't going to fall over, he looked pretty bad much like Berethor. "I can draw some bandages if you need them?"
Laguna saw Berethor get up. "Hey man. Good to see you're allright." Laguna felt tired. He sat down. "I'm sorry. I lost my temper a bit back there, you wanted to go... I should'nt have held you back..." He put his head in his hands.
