Jio watched Berethor as he was obviously having difficulty with the situation and drew closer to him and the girls. He subtlety moved his O-Part from his right wrist to his left wrist so that he could activate Devil Summoner quickly and intervene.

Jin watched this all transpire, but was torn. He had no reason to trust Berethor. He didn't particularly like him after the vision he had been shown, but he knew Jio wouldn't allow the girls to harm him either and that would be a problem.

He grabs the unicorn's horn and uses it as a handle for smacking his head into the ground.
