@Saltyk The engineering behind it isn't science fiction. The practicality as a weapon is still fictional because it needs to draw a HUGE amount of current and VERY long rails to actually get it to fire at the speed for it to be used as a cannon of sorts.

Charlotte eventually asks the group. "So are we going to eliminate both groups or just one?"

"I vote that we kill everyone!" Reginald told Charlotte enthusiastically.

"Maybe. Is there a chance that we could sway the other group to help us against Kessler? How would we go about forcing each other to destroy one another?"

OOC: I kinda remember what the group conflict was with Kessler. Correct me if I'm wrong.

"I like the idea of using the two groups to weaken each other and then destroying them both." Jin said to Charlotte.

OoC: @Slenn That's pretty much what I meant. They are too unwieldy to actually be used. More the realm of Metal Gear Solid or Trasformers 2 than reality. To use one, you pretty much would need a 30 foot mecha.

"I've been pretty selfish lately, haven't I?" Berethor asked this rhetorical question of Jio and EMily as he looked away from them. "You've all been offering to help me and have gone out of your way to try and make me feel better, and I've just been wallowing in my own grief and misery. I don't doubt that my...condition has effected my decisions as of late, but no more. Never again." He paused, and let out a dry laugh. "You must think me to be quite the hypocrite after what I told you on the day you left, Jio. I've been such a fool." He turned to face them, still looking dead tired, but his eyes contained the faintest hint of hope and the ghost of a smile played on his lips. "I know you won't want me too, but I have to ask...will you forgive me for my behavior?"

OOC: Yeah. You all might not be tired of the angst, but I am...plus I'm supposta keep Berethor alive for @Raka...

EMily ran over with a bright smile and hugged him. "Of course I forgive you! It's never too late to change anything... A lot can happen in a nanosecond."

She un-hugs him.

Charlotte and Laura closed their eyes. Perhaps now we understand Kessler's message... That there is hope left in this world....

"It's simple strategy. We are a smaller weaker force fighting two vastly superior enemies. They could easily team up to destroy us, but they are divided, so we should take advantage of it. Let them decimate each other, and destroy the weakened victor." Jin didn't want to admit that this was a typical tactic from his Mercenary days. When he would kill anyone if you payed him enough.

"There's nothing to forgive, Berethor." Jio said smiling.

Jin noticed the change in Berethor's mood. It seemed like there was... hope in his heart. Jin respected that. Those that abandoned hope were fools. Yet, he was wary. Berethor's powers had shown him a terrible vision and he was not intent on trusting the man.

After a while Three was confident in thinking, Hah, yeah. I totally scared off that crazy-ass Scarlet. I'm not afraid of her anymore. I dare her to show her face around here just so I can show how not scared of her I am.

"You remind me a lot of myself you know that? That plan reminds me of that time I had The Legion and the NCR fight and weaken each other. Then I killed whoever was left and kicked them out of the Mojave." Reginald said to Jin.
