OOC: @Rosh. LoL. Also inertia cancelers would just use extra energy to produce mass to create more inertia. Some of the things on this thread that are deemed "physics defying" are actually somewhat explainable, if not practical in real life.

Berethor stood before the two pilots. He knew they were going to make a mockery of his appology, but he was almost glad because of it. He cleared his throat and did his best to look from one to the other. "I will not apologize for believing what I do, but...I would hope you realize that it was nothing personal. I recognize you both as incredible warriors and indispensable allies...and good friends as well. I certainly wish that we could have avoided the...unpleasantness..." His voice started to crack a bit at the end as a lump formed in his throat.

OOC: @Rosh Superconductors. If the superconductors inside the things that are floating are kept at a very low temperature and there were magnets on the armor, then any movement by the wearer would drag along the superconducting material. They could also be working off of gravitational/mass technology that we wouldn't know about yet.

I like giving theories to things like this. Makes me think and I LOVE IT! :3

OoC: @Rosh Zone of the Enders had a similar technology. By using Metatron they created powerful Orbital Frames that could wipe the floor with a Gundam. God, I want them to make a ZOE3.
@Slenn Maybe you can help Raka understand how Jio's weapon creates blades based on hatred yet does physical damage and can't be blocked.

OOC: Hatred is a base emotion corresponding to the "old reptilian brain" section of our own brain. Perhaps the weapon resonates with the electromagnetic brain waves created from hate (synapses firing and what not). Maybe there's a pattern. It could also be based on more than 3 dimensions so that it appears at different sizes to different people.

I could do this all day, man.
