OoC: I'm on for an hour or two.

Laguna had been sitting in the corner, thinking abou AEanna's problem. She had to let it out sometime, or it was gonna bite everyone in the ass. Still, she was obvoiusly shaken about it. Laguna's expierences with Berethor had convinced him to try and let things sort themselves out for once. Laguna saw Charlotte and Laura talking to the elf. He stood up, ready to intervene if it got bad.

Hmmm... where could he be? Maybe he can pick up an telepathic message.
Yoo-hoo! Tophat? Where are you?

 

[Kirke]

Tophat dragged itself into a sitting position, back against a peice of rubble.
"Uhhh, where am I?"
Tophat then hears Ericas message, but when it tried to answer to had another surge of pain.
(To Erica:"AAAAAAAAAH!)"
"AAAAAAAAH!"
OoC: How big of an explosion was at the warehouse? Would Tophat have survived?

OOC: Big enough to collapse the warehouse, but we teleported just a street or two away and we were good. If you found some cover, most likely would have made it.

OOC:Incidentally, AEanna has gone without blood for about 24 hours now, meaning that she has a more haggard appearance, and her pupils are more noticeably slitted.

AEanna was sitting under a tree with thick low hanging branches that cast a heavy shadow, and she leaned back so that the girls would not be able to see her face as easily.
"Nothing is going on." she said sullenly. "I did not sleep well last night, and do not wish to join in whatever madness will take place in the camp today."

Jio wakes up and rubs his eyes. "Morning. Did I miss anything?" He stands up and stretches.

Erica was rather horrified upon hearing Tophat's suffering, but she noticed the distress in AEanna too.
She was struck with indecisiveness, unsure wich one of her friends she should help first.

Laguna saw AEanna try to conceal her face. He started walking slowly, trying not to get anyone's attention.

"Fucking hell..."
Tophat groans, looking around.

As Charlotte hugged her, AEanna could feel her warmth, could hear the blood pumping through her veins. Her neck was just inches away from AEanna's ear. She turned to look at Charlotte, and could see her pulse more clearly than before. Momentarily entranced, AEanna bared her fangs, moving her face a little closer. Then she remembered what was happening and wriggled free before pushing Charlotte away.
"No!! Don't touch me!"

Charlotte backed off. Hmmm, something is wrong... Told you so...

"See? I knew there was something different! So what's the matter?"

Jio walked over scratching his head and yawning. "What seems to be the problem over here?" He asked barely conscious.

Jin rolled over in his sleep... "Mom... Dad..."

Right decision time!
Erica figured that it would be helping AEanna first would be the most logical choise as she was closer by.
She ran over to where AEanna was sitting.
"Please, let me handle this."
She said to Charlotte.

Oh dear. Laguna picked up speed, careful not to rise above a fast walk.

Tophat pulled out the sword from a militia lying dead beside it.
"God damn..."

AEanna quickly got to her feet, glaring at Charlotte from the shadows.
"I just need to be left alone for a while! I am not in the mood for hugging!" She began to storm off. An idea had come to her. She needed warm blood now, and there was a place where she might not have to take it from her friends.

Laura materialized Valkyrie's revolver, and hid it behind her back, just in case.
