The soldier that Reginald forced to fire at his allies kills two more. He tries to back kick Reginald in the balls, but hurts himself due to Reginald's reinforced crotch area, so he yells in pain, dropping his gun. Joe's Extending punching glove kills another soldier, sending him flying into a wall after sending him several feet into the air.

The remaining three soldiers, who EMily zapped earlier, got to their feet and continued firing at Winona and EMily.

"Hn. Good, good..." The IS fires several rounds of Heavy Railgun fire at Jio, slowly descending downwards.

Jio catches his O-Part and seeing the incoming attack runs, his wild animal like movements making it hard to hit him. Once more his Spirit rises as he runs and channels into Zero Type R on his wrist. Maximum Spirit! Initiate effect. He turn and brings his right arm up and then back down in a fluid motion. "Jio Spike!" A powerful tornado like Whirlwind emits from his O-Part aimed for the mecha.

EMily fires her laser at the ground and at the soldiers to create a dust cloud. With the dust cloud in place, Winona leaped forward.

<color=darkgreen>"You don't scare me!" She swung her W- hammer at their minimally armored heads delivering the same amount of radiation as before and swinging her Z0 hammer to knock them backwards.

Laguna drew his sniper, loaded it with ricocheting rounds, and aimed at the floor under the mech. "Hey, robo!" He fired.

With the combine effort of EMily and Winona, the soldiers die... Except for the one that Reginald still has in his grasp.

The IS mech is hit by the tornado, spinning it around and around draining shields as well as the ricocheting rounds, draining even more...

"Damn, they have some good allies..." grumbles the pilot, watching her shields drain to 55%. She steadied herself, and continued to fire at the now spotted Joe with Machine Gun fire!

Group 2, go!

"Now sacrifice yourself for your ghost king!" Reginald shouted at the soldier he had in a headlock. He picked him up by the back of his collar and the waist of his pants. Reginald began spinning to build up momentum, which made the soldier appear to be flying in tight circles because Reginald was still invisible. When enough momentum was built, Reginald hurled the poor sod at the IS mech.

Joe saw the bullets flying for him. He put up a lightning flame shield, but this one seemed to be much smaller, and far thinner than usual.

"AAGH!!" Joe shouted as he started running as the shield almost instantly shattered under the machine gun fire, trying desperately to duck in behind large rubble piles.

Berethor had reached a safe distance and decided to watch over Charlotte and Laura to make sure they stayed safe. He felt that that was the best way of helping out in this fight. So he laid the two in a corner of a nearby building and stood before them facing the doorway, sword and shield at the ready.

The IS mech fires a missile at the soldier flung by Reginald, blowing him up. However, a voice is heard in her head. Second Shift, then retreat. We can't lose any more soldiers...

"Sorry, but the Ms. Orimura needs me! A parting gift! Sieg Madoka!"

The wings of the IS spread out, leashing this a barrage of energy bolts before flying away...

Laguna saw the incoming energy storm. He dropped a barrier grenade right in front of him, and curled up behind the sphere.

Jio places his right hand on the wrist of his left hand and uses the effect of The Mark of The Beast to absorb every bit of energy that comes his way. "Get behind me!"

Winona climbs on top of EMily, and EMily uses her electron beams to boost out of there as fast as she could.
They safely arrive behind Jio's absorption spell.

Joe was panicking. His shield had never done that before! He kept running unsure if the woman was still shooting at him. The run from Jack Noir back in WAOA looked like child's play at how fast Joe ran now.

Joe eventually passed a man that seemed to have a football in his hands and full football equipment, it said 'Gump' on the back of his shirt.

@Slenn it isn't a shield. The attacks are merely being absorbed into his hand. Kinda like The Wind Tunnel in Inuyasha if that gives you an image.
