She turns away from Varger and carries Winona on her back and stands a few feet away from the group. The two sisters stare at the stars.
Berethor places a heavy boot on Varger's shoulder to keep him pinned to the ground. Berethor stared into Jio's eyes intensely. "I don't care if I'm better than him...He is not trustworthy, he is a threat, he always will be. Therefore, he does not deserve to live." he said in as calm a voice as he could muster, which was still very agitated.
Joe turned and went to go help Laguna. He didn't want to look at the monster Varger had become, a tool for others to use and had no real meaning in life. Of all the villains Joe'd seen, Varger was the worst, just wanting to destroy the world and everything around him because he couldn't be bothered finding a place for himself.

Varger roared and clawed towards EMily. "HOW DO YOU KNOW!???! HOW ARE YOU SURE?!?!?! I GAVE THIS WORLD SOMETHING TO FEAR AND BAND TOGETHER AND FIGHT." He coughs up more blue liquid. "I. hate you. More so than any of the others." He snarls and looks at the reflection. A twisted mockery of a soul is revealed, warped memories of times no longer his to remember. Of horrible deeds done and the enjoyment of combat. Varger had so much hate for existance, so much rage at its unwillingness to accept him.
"Varger. I know this wont get through to you now. But please. When all this is over, just go out and live your life someday. Find that girl, join that cause, write a book or song. Just promise you'll do something." He looked at Joe. "Depends. How many times have you tried repairing several ruptured major organs?"
Laura looks back at Varger. "And now, where does that leave you? A shell of weapon that once was a man. You have accepted your fate, that's the way it's going to be."
Berethor gave a savage kick to Varger's head. "I have not yet heard a satisfying answer to why we should allow him to live." he said to the group
"Um... I'd answer that, but it would be zero... Um... Erica? There's someone who'd like to see you..." Joe then looked back at Laguna. "You sure you should be standing then?"
