Galen snatched the arrow out of the air with his left hand and a moment his lightsaber curved around through the air, spinning back to him.He caught it in his right hand, and cracked the arrow in two before tossing it at Gaylor's feet.

But the blades themselves can't be blocked. If there is hatred in your heart, the blades can be blocked. A demon once hid underground and still got hit. You could use your force powers on the "ring" that is the actual O-Part to slow, stop, or deflect it. I doubt it could handle a lightsaber blade though.
