Galen walked hurriedly away as he summoned his crusier. As he went he looked up, and saw a figure in the smoke and dust. It was Joe. He sighed and reached for his lightsaber, but then cocked his head to one side, as if listening. He nodded.
"Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that." As his cruiser dropped down and hovered behind his head, he called out.
"Joe!"

Berethor managed to stay on his feet during the tremors and helped Laguna up. "Good luck." he said as he rushed to Four's side. Her and her kittens were still his top priority.

Joe had started drooling as he fell into a stupor because of the spaceship, but his helmet quickly revived him. He then heard his name being called.

He looked up to see the cruise. "Galen?"

Jio and Jin both braced against the quake, though Jio barely noticed it. "You don't have to kill to create freedom. Any freedom that has to needlessly slaughter innocents is too steep a price."

Jin heard a voice address him. "What the? Who said that?"

"It must be the voice of that Chaos guy."

"Great..." Jin addressed the sky. "I don't know what you mean. I have no resentment. I fight with Hope. I fight to free my friend from his curse. I fight because others can't or won't."

Terumi spread his arms. "Uh, guys? It's kinda hurtful when you just ignore me like that. I did just come here in a giant snakehead chain thing!"
Laguna pointed his gun at Terumi. "I never caught your name."

Four hugged Doc and said, "Thanks Doc. I can't tell you how much that means to me."

The Kidd returns to the group and makes sure everyone's okay. Kidd ain't felt a tremor like that since the last time that ground started falling out from under him. He sees a right nasty lookin' fella and puts his hand on his Hammer's grip, ready for a fight if this fella was lookin' for one.

Terumi was about to respond to EMily when he saw a short guy with a hammer come onto the scene. "Oh, another new guy. You guys do love to change your lineup, huh? What's your name, kiddo?"
Laguna kept his gun pointed at Terumi, in case he tried anything.

Hearing an acknowledgement of his past shook Jin. "And what of it? I know what I did was wrong. I've done my best to atone for those crimes."

The vortex in the sky widened. A voice adressed all who stood on the battlefield.

Witness the bringer of ruin, the Titan of Purgatory, Brimflamme!"
From the vortex a massive creature emerged, the ground scorched where it stood.

Kidd got a real bad feeling from this new fella. Laguna pointing his gun at him certainly didn't help that. Kidd just says, "Call me The Kidd." He couldn't help but feel a little shaken when some kind of massive beast showed up as well.

Laguna drew his sniper. "I got this guy if we have to fight."
