OOC: @Rosh, okay, I made a mistake about the cloaking technology. The redirection of photons is not what can be done. What is being done in research is adjusting the wavelength of the photons from in front of the object so that they match the wavelength of the incoming photons from behind the object. This would lead to no shadow.
