OOC: I've been wondering... aside from complete control over the mind and soul of whoever is wearing him, what are Tophat's full powers? I don't think I've ever seen them in full.
Regulus leaps over Tophat and shoots three energy discs at the nearest soldiers, slicing them in half, it then guides a energy pillar across the building, killing five more soldiers.

Rose groaned as the soldier ran off before answering her. She found some paper and a pen and wrote a note.
She set the note under a rock so the wind wouldn't blow it away. As she followed the soldiers she dropped some rocks behind her in what was very obviously a method of marking a trail for the others to follow.
The Kidd followed after Four and Rose. He didn't quite trust this other fella, but he wasn't about to leave the two of them alone with him.

Regulus rains down some energy blasts, killing 12 more soldiers. It then teleported to one of the helicopters and thrust its arms into the fuel tank, it pulled out its arm out and with a small energy spark, lit in on fire.

Well ain't this just dandy. Kidd sees Purple Nasty and Tophat havin' themselves a little scuffle. He says to Four and Rose, "We gotta get you two out'a here."

Regulus formed another vortex to absorb the shots, it then engulfed its claw it shadow, extinguising the flames. when the miasma faded it revealed its claw had been sripped of nearly all its flesh.
