OOC: The group has their shit together now, but there's no way that'll last. Laguna will always have a place.
Dromaeus gripped Regulus' ankle and forced it up, trying to get some air into his lungs. Regulus was strong, but eventually Dromaeus could expand his ribcage just enough.

Laguna dropped the sniper and ran forward, drawing the machine gun. He didn't fire, though: desperation caused him to just run up to Regeulus and smack it with the butt of the gun, trying to get the spirit off Drom. "Get off my freind!" He was knocked back as the shout flew out of the lizardman.
OoC: If you insist. It was just a thought. And who knows? Laguna gets injured in like every fight, so killing him off wont seem anticlimactic.

mia had an idea and yelled to the group "Heal Regules, that might work! then she realised how stupid it sounded
Buddy immediately neutralized the majority of pain receptors in my brain to keep me functioning. Still hurt like a ***** though. I stop and think for a moment. "I think it's time to get psychological. Nobody attack Regulus." I shout to the group. "Your on the right track Mia." I say as I put my bayonet away.

Dromaeus hopped to his feet, flexing his pectoral muscles to try and work the achesout, then took a potion of minor healing. He paid attention to the plan and toasted Regulus with the bottle first.
"To your good health and happiness, spirit!" He called out jokingly.

Laguna got up, then saw the rest of the group stop attacking. He dropped his gun, and walked over.

"You know what, Regulus, you work too hard. I think what you need is some time to relax. Maybe...a hug?" As I say this I jump up and throw my arms around the creature. I keep the pressure of my hug just below the level that would likely cause pain. "You know something else? That's a lovely shade of purple you've got their. Wouldn't you say so Mia?" I say in a calm voice.

Laguna could not belive his eyes. He was all for trust and goodwill, but this... He satyed quiet, wondering what the group had planned.
OoC @Salty: I really wouldn't recommend that. Not only will Jio risk abosrbing a DS again, but the taint of Chaos aswell, not to mention the continuous screams of those it killed.
@Outis: It's about 1/4 taller then the average human, really thin though.

AEanna took several deep breaths to calm herself, then sheathed her dagger and began to walk over to Regulus, but then held back. There was no way she could even mask the anger and pain that Regulus had caused her, let alone put on any genuine cheer.
