"Now duck, don't go makin' promises that others'll have to keep. How is she supposed to trust that none'a those other folks'll try and kill her?" Kidd says to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand looks at The Kidd, "I will protect her! If she gets rejected, I will embrace her! They are not the only source! I offer my own love, if they do not! I offer my own power, if they do not! I offer my own family, if they do not!"
A tall portal appears next to the group, the debate audible.
Doctor Com looks at Lilah, "What Ferdinand says is true!"
"You don't understand anything, foul spirit. If you really wanted Lilah to make her own decisions, you would not be pressuring her into joining you. If you value her, you would allow her to choose. But you won't. Even if she chooses to return to us, you will try to force your will upon her."
Addressing Kidd, "I won't allow anyone to harm her, though I doubt that they would."
I've cooled off now. I decided I might as well go get the nova bomb and blow that damn building up, but while I'm heading over to my ship to get it, Buddy tells me he sees a bunch of people, so I go over and see them. 'Well this should be interesting.' I think as I approach silently.
Charlotte turns to the portal, her eyes become hard as diamonds. "Doctor Com, send us through the portal... We will purge them with the Void...." said Charlotte, her voice completely missing her usual tone.
Void powers starts radiating from the IS, dropping the temperature dramatically. (Everybody can feel this around her....)
"Look, when it comes down to it, here's the choice she's gotta make: Does she trust us, people she knows are her friends, or does she trust you, a stranger offering to take her back to people who hate her." The Kidd says.
As Dromaeus stayed invisible on the Marine's flank, Doc Com's portal opened and he heard the argument on the other side. He stood up, becoming visible again.
"Those voices sound familiar to everyone else?" he asked.
"Oh-ho! The pot calls the kettle black!"
Regulus replies to Jio. "I am keeping her safe, thou would hath her embrace her demise.
The gods hath shown me many things, including the new side to thy little robo-pilots friends.
Go on, hath a chat with them and find out what I mean."
"Now that's just pathetic." Kidd says as he sees Ferdinand bawlin' and pleadin' like a child. He sees Tanner and some'a the others and says, "Ah hell, who invited you folks?"
Ferdinand looks at her, "I swear, in the name of imagination, the muliverse, and everything that lives, breaths, takes up space, or thinks, that I will protect you, Lilah. I swear. What can I do to prove it?"
