Dromaeus watched AEanna intently, seeing from the determined expression on her face that she was holding her own, but wishing he had a way of helping. He began to look around for Jio as well, knowing that only he could trap Regulus without harming AEanna.

Truly? Is that it? Why, I remember thou claiming something difrent back then. Alow me to show thee...
Regulus shows AEanna the conversation she had between Erica and Tophat when they first learned of her condition.

"Vampires are dead bodies controlled by spirits that should not be there! Compelled to prey on mortals for an eternity unless they are destroyed, drinking their blood, maybe spreading the curse to others!"

Do those last few words ring a bell? And those were thy own words.
So who is the liar here?
But, if it makes thee feel better about thyself, by all means, continue to think I am wrong...

Laguna sighed with relief as he saw Regulus leave. "You allright? What did he say?"

OoC: Just a heads up, I'm going off for food in about 25 minutes. Should take about 30-50 minutes. I might miss the latter half of the battle, and I'm almost certain to miss the talk afterwards, so if you want just go on without me.

OOC: @Gear I'd be happy enough to wait, if everyone else is. It seems like things are gonna be quiet for a while anyway.

AEanna cursed to herself as Regulus left.
"Yes... yes, I am fine. Just his usual lies. He tried to tell me that all my... all the people from which I have fed are infected, but I do not believe it. It is an obvious ploy, in fact I am surprised that he did not realise that and think of something better."

"Hey Winona, do you want to check up on AEanna? It looks like Regulus has left."

Laguna scoffed. "He's just getting deperate. It's actually kinda funny now."

"It would be quite a coincidence if we did meet another vampire, Tophat. But it does not matter, I am sure that we will not." She looked at EMily and Winona and smiled warmly, her fangs showing slightly now that she no longer tried to hide it.

"Gotta admit, the fangs are kinda cute." She made a quirky smile.

(To AEanna: Regulus is a master of doubt, do not underestimate the measures it will go to to break you. If it fails to make doubt, it will probably follow it up.)

Regulus entered the hall where it held the vampires.
"So, gentlemen, hHow art the feeling now?"

"Hehehe...

"Do you think so? I would have thought that others would find them frightening, much like Dromaeus when he tries to smile!" As she spoke, Dromaeus who had been sitting a short distance away sharpening his war axe glanced up at the sound of his name.
"Eh?" AEanna giggled and focused on what Tophat was saying.

"Hmm. That is good advice, but what can he do beyond speak in mistruths?"

(To AEanna: Who knows? But it has the power of chaos behind it, so doubt anything and anybody.)

Regulus created a small blood rain, just out of the vampires reach.
"Blooood! g-give ittt!"
The vampires yelled as they snapped around like newborn chicks waiting to be fed.

OOC: Nailik'll have to come up with something fairly convincing to counteract Tophat's advice. Something better than 'here's a bunch of vampires. Hey, you're a vampire, aren't you? These must be related to you then.'
