Kidd shoots down the RPGs goin' for the Monument and has to take the bullets fired at him. "Dammit! You aren't takin' me out, not when I'm so close!" He blocks Mia's strike at him with his gun and tosses her aside. He draws his Calamity Cannon and fires at Roland, sendin'a massive stream'a dark energy right at him. EWa's attack is consumed by the Monument. It lights up even brighter, and most'a the machinery starts to churn to life. "This is bigger than just me! I'm not gonna let my people down again!" He shouts at EWa as he fires his Cannon at her as well.
"I-I'm still scared." Rose said.

"Oh, there will be plenty of songs written about him, and many flagons of mead raised to his name as well, I wager." AEanna said. "I am sure that he would be pleased to see it too." She suddenly looked cnfused.

Laguna let go of AEanana. "I was just walking around, having a think about everything that's happend. I heard them fight, but by the time I got there it was too crazy to jump in, so I came back here to check that you were ok."
Imagination looks at Rose, "Don't be scared. The book has chosen you to be a Chronicler, so you shall be it."
He puts his hand to Rose's head, and she feels power flow into her. She becomes omniscient.

Roland continues to charge at The Kidd, and takes the blast to the face. He ignore the immense amount of pain he's in. The alternet selves he has been colecting and folding split, and he becomes 12 people. Half of them shoot at the Kidd, and another half shoot at the momnument. One of them dives at The Kidd, lightsaber in hand, anger in his voice.
"FREE ROSE!"
Doctor Com looks at AEanna and Laguna.
"Ferdinand, don't ship these two."

Kidd starts coughin' up blood as Tophat stabs him. He kicks Tophat away and pulls the sword out'a his gut. He tosses the sword aside and fires another blast from his Cannon at Tophat. Kidd sees Dave runnin' towards him and fires his Cannon at him as well.
Roland's bullet roll off the Monument, Kidd was smart enough to reinforce the casin'. He blocks the shots directed at him with his Calamity Cannon like a shield. He fires his Cannon at the Roland chargin' at him. "Soon she ain't gonna matter. None'a this is gonna matter."
Rose fell over in pain at the sudden flood of information into her head because of her omniscience. "Ow! Ah! W-Why?!"

as mia was knocked back she landed on the floor and spun around firing a barrage of feathers as a distaction that disquised mia's quick aceleration towards the kidd
EWa absorbed the energy from the Calamity Cannon's shot. She remembered EMily's memories from the time when she looked at the journal containing the monument's construction. A critical weak point was spotted in the bottom of the Monument, where it couldn't absorb her blasts to make it stronger. She targeted it and sent in a thick antimatter beam at the bottom. She also targeted Kidd and fired a heavy fatal gamma ray beam, like a laser at Kidd.

Mia's feathers were absorbed by the Monument. The Monument continues lightin' up and churnin', it seems nearly on the verge'a activation at this point. Of course, that didn't matter anymore. EWa's attack crippled the Monument. The lights shut down and it the sounds seemed to stop. It was almost like it'd been killed, and with it, The Kidd's will to fight. He hit the ground after EWa's attack, his healin' power barely keepin' him alive. He's been spent.
Tears start rollin' down the Kidd's face as he lay there, unable to get up. Kidd manages to cough out a few words in between mouthfuls'a blood, "I-I failed...I-I-I'm sorry..."
"I-It still hurts, but I'll try." She picked up the book and just started writing.
