Rose had gotten used to using her weapons as scythes, so she switched to using them as rifles. She fired at some nearby rubble, as she did so she lifted a foot off the ground and stood on the toes of her other foot so the recoil allowed her to do a ballet spin and remain in place. She was't quite used to it yet, so it left her a little dizzy and she fell over anyway.

EMily had turned back in surprise. Mia had teleported them back into the ship. "There was a dimensional pocket thing... I could hear your conversation... perhaps it was Mia." She hugged Tanner. "I had no idea you had such difficulties. I know what it's like to be pressured to learn something, even if you love it so dearly. Even if our outcomes of our education may have turned out differently, we both share our love for the different sciences that we know and cherish." She teared a little.
"These things have more kick than I expected. It's gonna take a lot more practice to get used to these." Rose mumbled to herself as she stood up.
