OoC: Yeah, there is a bit of a plot hole that I don't understand. It's pretty clear that the people came to the planet the series takes place on, thousands or millions of years prior. And that the Kabbalah had been activated at least twice (and wiped out 99% of the planet's population in the process). But that each time failed, because the Kabbalah had never successfully absorbed Satan. This is due to him just being too powerful for it to contain. Yet, it's also clear that when we first meet Jio, he only about 12 and he's only lived for about that long.

AEanna grew steadily more frustrated at the piece of wood she was carving. Dromaeus had always made it look so easy, chipping away pieces of material and gradually forming a figure in the block, but the dragon claw she was trying to whittle was crude and misshapen despite her best efforts.
"Come on... why will you not... damn it!" She cursed as the blade slipped and passed through the pad of her thumb, leaving a deep bloodless gash. She hurled the half finished claw away and sealed up the gash in her thumb with a spark of magic, before sighing and putting away Mehrune's Razor.

Eddie jokingly remarked to Jio. He then he notices AEanna trowing her sculpture away.

Rose had gotten tired from practicing with her weapons and went back to the group. She sat down near AEanna and tried to catch her breath, beads of sweat were forming on her brow and rolling down her face. "Right now I think I need to rest for a bit." She said to Roland.
